Aerial Photos Of Hunting Land

Can anyone recommend a good site/place to get an aerial photo of your hunting property blown up and laminated. We want to hand one on the wall at camp and be able to write on it with dry erase pens to mark stands and other land marks.

Do you need to go there with a saved file or can they pull the photo right off google earth?

Yea figure it would help people find stands and also gives us something to look at and come up with game plans. Also the dry erase lets you change markings every time you move a stand or if something on the property changes.

My buddy works for a survey company and he got me some large aerials with the property lines on them. I would look check a local company.

county tax department if you've got connections.  for what you're doing might want to just get one from hunterra maps.  it'll last a pretty long time.  can show topo lines and stuff too.  I've used a photoshop type program to connect photos taken from zoomed in google earth screen shots but that's a PITA.

Not sure, I just know they will blow up a photo poster size.

These guys make awesome maps. You can get big ones to hang up at camp and foldable ones to take with you. Great quality stuff.

You can use the tax map GIS for your county and get this nice outline of your property with a google earth overlay. I have noticed it can be off slightly but still is nice to see boundaries.
