The Things People Leave In The Woods

In the past two weeks of bow season, some of the things I have come across in the woods have cracked me up and pi$$d me off.

The bike in a tree was honestly one of the funniest things I have come across in my 30+ years bumbling through the woods. Especially the bobber in the wheel.

Wish I took a picture but years ago In middle of happy valley on the side of a hill sat a toilet.

I remember seeing a toilet on an ATV trail that skirts the edge of Happy Valley Road.  It was at the base of a hill within a stones throw of a small creek.  On the other side of Altmar there is another ATV trail that has a working pay phone in the middle of the woods.  Very odd looking the first time you come upon it ;)

Another one that has baffled me for years, behind my house there is a pretty deep ravine that is U shaped with the Salmon river bordering it.  Its landscaped locked all the way around for any vehicle access.  Here at the bottom sits an old and I mean old vehicle sitting on its wheels without a dent in the thing.   Its long lost under water when beavers moved in and built a damn on a spring below it.

LMAO I seen the phone booth too.  I guess there is a joker in the neihborhood, I can imagine some drunk locals stealling toilets and phone booths and halfway home they give up and leave the stuff.

I leave my bow in the woods.  If I'm hunting Fri., Sat. And Sun I'll bring my bow to the stand Friday morning and leave it in tree until I leave Sunday.  I started 3 years ago and have been doing ever since.

Thats nuts, no way Id ever do that, spend a lot of money on a bow and just leave it out in the woods for days?  :stop:

?!?!?!?!

Not that I am a bow hunter, but I couldn't even fathom leaving any of my rifles outside for any period of time. Hell I went into  a crazed rage when I realized I had dropped my new Mora somewhere between where I breasted this mornings grouse and my truck.
