Ha I got a chuckel out of that !

since I'm off for a while I don't " set my clocks back" because well the deer aren't .

Ill do my best, on part two, though .

Biz I'm taking that as humor, sometimes it hard for me to tell.

Wish they would just leave the darn clocks alone! No reason for Daylight Savings anymore!

Can i ask what the orginal reason was? I thought it was bc the earth actually rotates for more or less (I forget) than 24 hrs in a day so the adjust 2 times a year to compensate for it

Light at  roughly 4:30 am and dark at 7:30 in June then, we are coming off daylight now to "real" time......

I'll take the hour change for a later summer sunset time.

I think in the early 1900's it was put in place to give farm workers more time in the field .  But I am not entirely sure about that.

It's a cog in the political machine. That's why Obama changed the dates after how many hundreds of years? It didn't fit with he and the Clinton's aspirations of US domination. You have to be pretty power hungry to change the DST dates....Just sayin'

On a serious note, from what I have read and remember, it was to preserve daylight hours. Most of AZ doesn't even observe it. Me, IDC. Hour here, hour there, it's just time.
