57lbs seems heavy for driftboating the Salmon River from Altmar through the Erie Canal into Clarence Center.

 

Edit: if you cut through Arkville, Roscoe, and Ellenville, you will be fine actually.

Once in Clarence center a quick left onto Mud Creek will take you right to the firemans carnival. Grab some chowder!
