You need to get past the cartoon and get the message. Meme's are not meant to be documents. They're a means for conveying a message in few words, so even low IQ people can get the message. And don't assume I mean you here. I don't. It's similar to people who try and refute a message because a word in it is spelled wrong. It ain’t fair but I do enjoy it. Hahaha it's honestly sad. And this is coming from a conservative second amendment supporter. I have friends i unfollowed on facebook because I just cant stand it anymore. They just see something they like and share. It might be some fake story about dead rats found in ragu bottles from 2 years ago or some fake conspiracy. All it takes is a little research and you'd realize it was fake. It's just so freaking sad and you're so desperate to find something that supports your belief that you post a fake picture of the Gonzales girl tearing up the constitution. Like do you even realize how ignorant you look?

philoshop
3 hours ago, Belo said: her "shut up and dribble" comment doesn't help her much either. Laura Ingraham wrote an entire book entitled "Shut Up and Sing" over a decade ago about musicians using the stage to preach politics rather than just doing their job of entertaining. She 're-booted' that sentiment because now we have sports entertainers doing the same thing. She offered whoever it was who felt 'dissed' as much time as he wanted on her show to debate with her the relative benefits of entertainment professionals using their 'stage' for politics. The guy hasn't taken her up on the offer. No real surprise there. "Shut up and Sing"..."Shut up and Dribble"...how about just shut up and be the entertainer I'm paying to see without your useless and often baseless political commentary?

Nobody, and I repeat nobody can say what they want without repercussions. Ratings for the grammys and oscars are down. Ratings for the NFL are down. CNN's ratings are down. Kathy Griffith lost her new years eve gig. Curt Shilling lost his. People exercising their rights and marching in alt ride parades have lost their jobs. Many on this very forum have screamed to the rooftops that your 1st amendment right is freedom from persecution, but not from consequences. So guess what, you can say whatever you want and not go to jail. Doesn't mean you keep your job or that your customers have to keep coming back. Just like O'Riley lost his gig when advertisers begin leaving, fox news has every right to boot Laura. Money talks. Sorry if this is news to you. 13 hours ago, philoshop said: ..how about just shut up and be the entertainer I'm paying to see without your useless and often baseless political commentary? this is rich from you. She should be seriously sanctioned because of the stupidity of someone in her position going after the kid in that manner. I said earlier that I would have fired her and I spoke too quickly. But I think her non-apology apology may have warranted it. I love good whisky, used to love pot, think Kumbaya is a great song and have no issue with buying the world a coke. We're all media whores. Or our internet constructs wouldn't be arguing with each other on public media. If there was a pack of flesh-eating Rottweilers running around it must be satisfying to know that your dick is safely in your hand. The left hardly is alone in capitalizing politically on a national tragedy. I sometimes forget that there are kids who post here as well. I should have gone easier on him. Personally I believe if you step onto the public stage as he has, then it's all fair. If you don't want to be held to task and challenged then stay at home. He's a douchbag and if he was sitting in the room with me I would tell him as much.

Laura's comment was regarding an instragram post that Lebron made. Instagram or course having nothing to do with the sport and entirely voluntary for you to follow anyone on. You can watch every NBA game and would never know a player's political beliefs. If you want to watch post game pressers and follow social media and awards shows, then yeah maybe. Haha thanks, I never said death threats were okay. I'm also sure Ingraham didn't send him or tweet a death threat about Hogg. The issue is that the youth has too much power over what is going on with little to no knowledge other than the emotional side. Hogg has no agenda other than his 15 minutes, sure he watched people get killed but how many kids younger than him see it everyday? I don't see them up on a podium demanding guns to be banned. The issue is the ability to get illegal guns and the government agencies dropping the ball. Has nothing to do about calling someone names. They both need to grow. She mocked him who gives a crap, he threw a tantrum and got his way.

These kids and the liberal left that want to come at you charging head strong and then start hollering that any opposition is bullying them reminds me of a kid I knew in high school. Little punk, small in a stature and use to play the "I am smaller than you so you can't touch me card" as he was running his mouth. That didn't work out so well for him one day as I remember. Lebron plays basketball (that's the sport) 2. During the sport that he plays he doesn't talk about or send any sort of political messaging. 3. He uses his fame and status on social media to promote his views. You don't need to be on social media to watch basketball. Therefore, him being political does nothing to influence your level of enjoyment when watching the actual game of basketball that he plays. You may not even know it exists unless you go looking for it. 3b. We are promoting our views right now. Why can you can I discuss our views and lebron can't? Is he not human too? 4. If a tweet from anyone influences how you think, you're a sheep. 5. I don't give a flock about what celebs and athletes think so I dont follow them on twitter or instagram. I don't watch the grammys or oscars. I tuned in less to football games, I don't watch fox news or don lemon. I try and fact check the stuff I do see, then i formulate my own opinion. It's really that easy. I still enjoy movies, tv and sports without caring or knowing what the actors view on trump or the war in iraq is. It's really great!
