Contingency Plan/FEMA ??

Do to the last forum outage I've been thinking.........

My phone has been inundated with numerous calls and text messages along with a slough of emails as fellow forum members were in a panic mode and wondering what we were going to do with all our idle time.  One long time (goof ball) forum member even talked about selling all his hunting gear as he figured he'd never hunt again if we lost this site. :)

So here we are.......I think we need a plan for future outages.  I don't think FEMA will help us as we are kind of a "low priority" issue for them.  How about we meet at a central location?  I think we head to the Bristol, NY area as two VERY prominent forum members live there.  Bring your "bug out" bag with necessary provisions for 3-7 days and I think we'll be GTG.

Our production at work went up 50 percent across NY, but can't have them thinking that's gonna be the norm!   Glad it's back up and running.  

But I will prepare a bug out bag for next time.  Beer, hotdogs, PA chest girth chart, a Bigfoot call, DEC rules and regs book and some 3x5 cards so we can pass notes to each other.
