I'm spending the day at my sister's place on Keuka Lake..

When I'm there I try to catch enough panfish ( perch & bluegills) off the dock for a meal for my sister & BIL...

He has a doctorate in chemistry, but he can't fish worth a damn... ...

It sounds like opening morning of gun season (30 years ago) down by me. Car alarms are continuously going off. I think I will have to sedate the dog and  while I am at it the wife too .

Had a great time...did some work ....bought some corn and we head to the sons house for food drinks games and displays....got home late woke up early and no hang over...the 4th will be a fine day ..Had a great time

But did get singed a bit when a tube tipped over....and I found out I can still duck fast...but not out run a star burst...no worries... it did give me flash backs of Forrest Gump running out of a Vietnam forest as it was blowing up and later saying his bum got stung ??? ...lol but it was my elbow...Oh ya also flashes of that movie where the guy caught his feet on fire to the tune from Scat Man Do...yep I could work at an airport screening station with the patdown I gave my self head to toe ...Hope you all are having a great weekend

Spent most of yesterday on the Honey do list.Plan on some good bbq and a few cold ones,I well make my son drive so I can have more then a few....

Checking back in - awsome weekend! 

Except for not bringing enough bar-oil I got a bunch of work done at camp & enjoyed the holiday. It's nice to get some family up even if they are there for a day & relax.

We ended up going to the Rochester Red Wings (baseball) game yesterday. It was a nice change of pace.

Well apparently the DOH frowns upon dogs at a BBQ festival.. ;D  Me and Gus stayed in the truck while the wife and kids had a good time. She bought me some lunch and it was good but not the really good stuff because we were there early on Sunday before it really got rolling. No one was really set up yet at 1100 am but it sure did smell good. Other then that we all had a great time camping, hiking and fishing.

I was so full from eating a giant pulled pork sandwhich that I didn't eat dinner..lol
