A Buck is Taunting Me

[Cabin Fever]

I stopped by camp the other night. Something caught my eye as I was pulling up to the cabin, so I stopped for a closer look. A buck has been rubbing on a sapling 25 yards from the cabin! LOL (The rub is on the backside of the sapling on the 2nd pic)

I love that,  last season I had a small rub on the edge of my driveway.  Good stuff.

First year I planted some nice 12’ maples in my yard a buck crushed it.  Has that nice old rub split now.  Should have hunted my deck.

They did the same to me. Front yard next to driveway. (Tree was rubbed before I protected it with the wire).

Know the feeling.... They can't get much closer than this. I assume his antlers hit the camp while making this one
