Well i recieved this text message from a buddy who said this deer was taken last week, it scored 265"

Im not saying it is true by any means. I dont think it is considering a deer like this would catch so much buzz we would all hear about it by now. It was said to be taken in Yapank last week... Any input? i think its fake so lets hear it.

The closer I look at the pic on the lower left corner it seems altered. The guys boot looks missing.

Looks like photoshop to me. I haven't heard anything about this. Some people just have too much time on their hands.

It's a picture of a picture on a cell phone. So quality is def not good. That "square" at the boot is a reflection of another cellphone screen. It doesn't look doctored from this view, but again quality is so poor. However, any 200+ deer would be all over in no time, so I'm guessing old pic or fake.

We can check with the DEC to see if it was checked in at Ridge,Thats the first place I would go if I took a deer of this size.BTW,what is the nys record deer anyway,rifle or bow?

if it is a real deer it's not from New York and defiantly not from long Island

Ok, I saw the rack with my own eyes. It was a farm raised buck shot out of state. I heard the price tag was $8,000.
