Saftey System Help

Need a new safety system.

Trying to find out weather to go with the mesh style like the HHS or go with a strap version like the muddy magnum. 

What do you all wear? What are the pro's vs cons?

Mostly bowhunt from a climber, incase that changes opinions.

I just bought the muddy harness.  I've only used to hang stands but I like it. I prefer a harness I can wear under my jacket and this one I can do it with.

I wear a rock climbing harness, never going back to a "hunting" one. Its lighter, safer, faster, cheaper and gives me full use of my hood, pockets etc

Another vote for a rock climbing harness. I like to put a lifeline on any set I leave out and I have a strap I use if I ever use my climber.

I use the same tether, it goes around the tree for the climber or on the lifeline in a fixed

I own a high-rise window-cleaning company. I just use my full body harness and tether myself to the tree with a shock absorbing lanyard.

I feel much safer with the heavier duty equipment.

I looked up the Rock Climbing Harness and wasn't impressed . They appear to go around the waist and thighs . Seems like if you fell , you could end up upside down !

After going through several pages of rock climbing harness'es , I did see a couple full body harness'es . I think I will stay with my HSS vest .

I like my HSS vest too. A friend bought it for me a couple of years ago and I thought it looked hokey.  But it is very comfortable, reversible, and has a couple of pockets too.  Thankfully I have never tested the suspension on it.
