I think I just "carry weight well". I'm 6'0, 224 lbs now, started at 238. I'd like to get back to around 200. I gained a bunch last year, I was laid off most of the year and gained about 30 pounds of beer, pizza and what ever else I consumed to pass the time... Not good, not healthy. Dumb thing is, this it the 3rd or 4th time I have done this roller coaster ride in the past 12 years. Im noticeably leaner tho so i know i am putting on size and nice muscle. Cardio and weights 4 days a week and staying away from the crap food. I need to loose 15 pounds to make 190. I'm 6'. Been at it hard for about a month now. (I have been slacking on my cardio tho.... Need to fix that) Still about 20 pounds from my goal, half way there at least!
