After long 48 hour swing at work  I really wanted to run hounds today. Alas I have to go back into work  at 6pm so it would be cutting it close. Hounds go out tomorrow. I could either watch the President get impeached again or go squirrel hunting. I chose the later.

Yes other than trapping it's the most consistent way to kill them

Nice haul!  It seems every time I get out I happen to choose a day when they are not active... My luck has to change sooner  or later!

I know , me too . One thing I’ve noticed is that they seem to be more active in the morning as opposed to afternoon ; have you seen that or no ?

In the past few years it seems like from 11 am till 2 pm was the time.  I think possibly because the day kinda warms up
