Had a hen cross in front of me on my road on way home tonight she had 8 poults with her took couple of pics and video

.don't know how to load video but here are the pics , tough to see the little buggers video was better .. any suggestions?

Nice, haven't seen any poults yet, but been seeing lots of hens in fields. Did see a partridge and 5-6 little ones dart across the road the other day.

With the cold and rainy weather around here this spring, I'd be surprised if any poults survived this year.  Maybe this is the reason we are seeing fewer turkey in the Catskills every year.

The average hatching date for poults in NY is about NOW.....Surely we lost some early hatches, but the weather in the next 2-3 weeks is much more important than the weather a couple of weeks ago..
