phade
Yep, the hunt is on! The opt out option was never granted to counties this year/yet (if they do). Sounds like Erie and Madison and other county politicians can go play with a ramrod. Not including any bore butter. 3
Moho81
My daughter will be super excited to hear it's a go no matter what. She keeps talking about hunting with me while on Christmas Vacation.

Last year we had 3' in Erie County on December 26th. 3 years ago the riding was great in Cherry Creek before New Years. Be that as it may, no clubs anywhere will open the trails until everyway to kill deer has been exhausted. And currently, no county in WNY has opted out out so enjoy your time in tree stand after Christmas. 3in of snow is not enough to ride on unless ground Is rock hard. Mud wears out skags, and rollers , sliders ect , quickly.. want to ride like that go grass drag all summer.. 12in snow unfroze ground and 4 in with froze is good rule of thumb.. Heck we had 5 ft of snow and 5 days later it was gone showing grass everywhere.. long gone are days of months of trail riding , get a trailer and head north..
