  1. Teds methods are rather unorthodox to say the least but he drives the point home and unlike many put under pressure, he still manages to get his point across... i know its a love hate relationship when it comes to Ted and i was not a big fan of him BUT having said that i CAN NOT hate a man who fights for our right to own a gun more then any individual out there. He has put more time and effort into fighting for that right then anyone i know and for this i can respect the guy...

  2. Ted wants people to be able to excercise their 2nd Amendment rights. He is pro hunting and very informed and knowlegeable on the issues. He is also willing to stick his neck out and have people criticize him and call him an idiot, in order to debate the issues. I don't find fault with that. I don't think anyone can argue against what he says. They just don't like the way he says it. If you can't argue with the message, attack the messenger. It just aggravates me that hunters and gun owners attack him. Especially when they don't have any alternative pro-gun, pro-hunting spokesperson to suggest or offer as his replacement. I guess they would rather nobody defends our side of the issue when it is attacked and theatened by the anti's. I don't think he hurts our side. I think not challenging attacks from the other side hurts our side more.

  3. Like I said, if you can't attack the message, attack the messenger. I still don't see anyone pointing to someone else who is doing a better job of speaking up for hunters and gun owners. I guess they prefer we don't speak up at all. Me personally, until someone better comes along, I'll let Ted speak all he wants to.

  4. There should NOT be a law to mandate wearing Blaze Orange . You should know what the hell you are shooting at and if in doubt , don't shoot . It's that simple !

  5. Lets keep the penned hunt argument out of this, not even close to the original topic. So many people attack Nugent from within the ranks of hunters and gun owners, its not even funny. I dont give a damn if he slept with a bunch of road whores, or if he bashes the president, or if he made a mistake almost 50 years ago. The man is willing to take alot of heat to defend something that he believes in, and I happen to believe in, and I support him because of that. I dont give a crap what the antis think, you are never going to change their opinions, all you can do is fight for what you believe in, and thats what Ted does, and he does a good job of it, IMO. How about you guys discuss the message he presented in the video rather than continually bash his personal life?

  6. I don't see how his stance on the 2nd amendment and gun control hurts hunters. This particular video addresses gun control not hunting. I think his way of presenting it may offend certain people but he tells it like it is and he is not afraid of facing those who advocate increased gun control. If the gun control advocates win us hunters lose our firearms.

  7. The person who wrote this is a college student. Perhaps there is hope for us after all. DIVORCE AGREEMENT THIS IS SO INCREDIBLY WELL PUT AND I CAN HARDLY BELIEVE IT'S BY A YOUNG PERSON, A STUDENT!!! WHATEVER HE RUNS FOR, I'LL VOTE FOR HIM. Dear American liberals, leftists, social progressives, socialists, Marxists and Obama supporters, et al: We have stuck together since the late 1950's for the sake of the kids, but the whole of this latest election process has made me realize that I want a divorce. I know we tolerated each other for many years for the sake of future generations, but sadly, this relationship has clearly run its course. Our two ideological sides of America cannot and will not ever agree on what is right for us all, so let's just end it on friendly terms. We can smile and chalk it up to irreconcilable differences and go our own way. Here is a model separation agreement: --Our two groups can equitably divide up the country by landmass each taking a similar portion. That will be the difficult part, but I am sure our two sides can come to a friendly agreement. After that, it should be relatively easy! Our respective representatives can effortlessly divide other assets since both sides have such distinct and disparate tastes. --We don't like redistributive taxes so you can keep them. --You are welcome to the liberal judges and the ACLU. --Since you hate guns and war, we'll take our firearms, the cops, the NRA and the military. --We'll take the nasty, smelly oil industry and you can go with wind, solar and biodiesel. --You can keep Oprah, Michael Moore and Rosie O'Donnell. You are, however, responsible for finding a bio-diesel vehicle big enough to move all three of them. --We'll keep capitalism, greedy corporations, pharmaceutical companies, Wal-Mart and Wall Street. --You can have your beloved lifelong welfare dwellers, food stamps, homeless, homeboys, hippies, druggies and illegal aliens. --We'll keep the hot Alaskan hockey moms, greedy CEO's and rednecks. --We'll keep the Bibles and give you NBC and Hollywood. --You can make nice with Iran and Palestine and we'll retain the right to invade and hammer places that threaten us. --You can have the peaceniks and war protesters. When our allies or our way of life are under assault, we'll help provide them security. --We'll keep our Judeo-Christian values. --You are welcome to Islam, Scientology, Humanism, political correctness and Shirley McClain. You can also have the U.N. but we will no longer be paying the bill. --We'll keep the SUV's, pickup trucks and oversized luxury cars. You can take every Volt and Leaf you can find. --You can give everyone healthcare if you can find any practicing doctors. --We'll continue to believe healthcare is a luxury and not a right. --We'll keep "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" and "The National Anthem." --I'm sure you'll be happy to substitute "Imagine", "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing", "Kum Ba Ya" or "We Are the World". --We'll practice trickle-down economics and you can continue to give trickle up poverty your best shot. --Since it often so offends you, we'll keep our history, our name and our flag. Would you agree to this? If so, please pass it along to other like-minded liberal and conservative patriots and if you do not agree, just hit delete. In the spirit of friendly parting, I'll bet you answer which one of us will need whose help in 15 years. Sincerely, John J. Wall Law Student and an American P.S. Also, please take Ted Turner, Sean Penn, Martin & Charlie Sheen, Barbara Streisand, & ( Hanoi ) Jane Fonda with you. P.S.S. And you won't have to press 1 for English when you call our country. Forward This Every Time You Get It ! Let's Keep This Going, Maybe Some Of It Will Start Sinking In!!

  10. Ted's way of debating this topic makes me want to stand on the other side of stage. I can stand there and exercise my free speech and bare arms without allowing videos of me saying "suck on this Mr. President" When debating a hot topic especially something regarding a weapon you would want to come across as a nice calm professional individual without any signs of insanity. There are allot of individuals within the NRA that come across that way. You look at them and say sure this guy makes a good point. Ted is the poster child for gun control. Keep Ted out of my guns!!!!!

  11. Im not saying poor Ted. Im just saying instead of assassinate the man every time his name comes up, maybe you should pay more attention to the message he is delivering.

  12. What a waste ! IMO that completely ruins the whole hunting standard. Why anyone would want to pen hunt is out of my world. Dosent anyone on tv get the real thrill of studying a wild deer herd and making everything they've put togather work out and get a real sucessful hunt.

  14. I don't see him threatening anyone with the AR's or displaying them in a threatening manner, do you? Maybe I'm missing something in this video but all I see is an exercise of free speech and right to bare arms, just two of the basic fundamental rights our country was founded on. And If he knelt down on one knee while bad mouthing our president while holding his ARs and then looked up to the heavens, he would be exercising another well established right we all have. Also I don't see him as a representative of hunters. I see him more as a mouthpiece and advocate against stricter gun control. I've watched his show Spirit of the wild hundreds of times and not once did I see him hunt with a firearm. Most if not all his hunting I've seen was with his Martin Firecat bow.

  16. Wow, that's shocking!! Exercising his 1st and 2nd Amendments at one time. 200 years ago people did the same thing. They were called the founders of a nation, patriots. That is why they documented their actions and called it the Constitution. So people would not forget what happens when governments start over reaching their bounds.

  17. Although i dont agree what was done on that farm that day, I dont believe that any buck under the drugs that i use would be able to run around with his tail up,jumping limbs and smelling does. This video is from back in 2004 and 2005,Thats digging way back in the archives if qdm is trying to dig somrthing up to downgrade something to try and make themselved look better. I have no problem with other peoples beliefs and some like high fence as shown by the millions made by high fence hunting each year. Kinda to each their own kinda thing. Qdm is trying to fight a battle they cant win. Todays problems with the hunting world has nothing to do with high fence. With todays fast paced world, very little hunting land, Bucks that never make it to 2yrs old,Very few deer in some places. Lazy people and todays youth that would rather sit in front of a video game,a computer, go see the girl friends and even drugs for some. The good ole days of going to camp every weekend, although it sucks its happening, is going by the wayside. High fence hunting is just going to get stronger as time goes on if the world stays on the path its on. What happened on that farm by one bad apple does not even come close to speak for the many high fence ranches i have seen. There is 2 shows on the pursuit channel one is keith warren and the other is Wild River Whitetails. One show is on deer farms an the other is on high fence ranch life. They are very good shows with lots of info on both parts of the whitetail business. Bottom line still comes down to the to each their own on what people believe and if this one video of 8 or 9 years ago is all they have to fight with that shows you that they do not have alot of bullets for their fight!!!!

  19. Ok here is my email inquiry to the DEC: Dear Ms. Montalvo, Thank you for your reply regarding the use of a bow mounted range finder for hunting purposes in New York State. It was very informative and it has cleared up a lot of different opinions. I am now inquiring as to whether or not one can use a motorized turkey decoy while hunting for spring or fall turkey in NYS. Essentially what I am referring to is affixing a turkey decoy on top of the base of child’s battery operated remote controlled car that is used while hunting to mimic lifelike movement for purposes of luring gobblers into shotgun or bow range. My research on this topic has also revealed differing opinions. I would appreciate clarification on this issue as well. Thank you in advance for your assistance. Best regards, Jordan Masiakos Lets see what she says . . . .

  23. Nothing but BS. A crossbow is not always loaded, it is only loaded when an arrow is on the rail and the bow is cocked. A vertical bow is loaded as soon as you nock that arrow, whether it's drawn or not. Ask an Econ officer if you can ride a wheeler with you bow and a nocked arrow. I seem to recall during my bow hunter course, the instructor talking about the dangers of following behind your buddy while you have an arrow nocked. Sorry bud, your line of thought just don't add up no matter how many times you repeat it. Just more opinions you are trying to pass of as fact.

I believe in God...good and evil...and I support others peoples belief in God..what ever they deem to call their higher spirit I DO NOT Believe in religion and religious doctrine for that is man made...it is and always has been humans way of controlling the masses...take a good look at history....God is not corruptible...but religious doctrine is
