The only fault this lady had was showing up for work that day. They all need a good ass kicking.4 points

I disagree with this having to do with moms going to work. The culprit here is all of the bleeding heart bullsh*t that has taken an adult's ability to properly discipline kids away from them. Many kids today know they are almost untouchable, and therefore respect noone. The schools and legal system are at fault for it. They teach little Johnny and Jane that they can and should CPS if their parents even threaten to spank them. I remember when I was a kid, they started teaching that crap, I believe it was in 5th or 6th grade maybe. I came home that day and told my father that he could not spank me any longer and that I would call CPS on him. He asked if I wanted him to dial the phone for me, and then whooped my butt. I deserved it, and never made that threat again. I am raising my kids similar to how my parents raised me, and Ill bet they have a ton more respect for others than the little pukes in those videos. If I ever found out they did something like that, school punishment would be the least of their worries....3 points

I agree, but At least she's not milking off the system and getting up and making an honest living...even at her age. My heart breaks thinking of how she must have felt. The bus driver is just as guilty for not calling the district and asking what he/she should do to defuse the situation. If I was the parent, I would make my kid publicly apologize AFTER I sign them up for the summer to work with elders and learn how to respect them. Maybe after they hear and bond with those elderly folks, they will learn to respect them. They need not say they are sorry, but actually he sorry. I also think they need to be held accountable for the stabbing comments, etc. I'm just heart broken for this woman.3 points

I would not hesitate to do what this father did to protect his 5 year old daughter from being raped. A grand jury decided not to indict the father. Hallelujah! http://news.yahoo.co...-151942957.html1 point

Nice! and I mean like Mike Tyson on The Hangover..."Nice!" I had a Fraggle Rock lunch box...1 point

I had the same issue Elmer. I had one kid (2 years older than me) that used to push my head into the window every day when he got on the bus. One day I got fed up and took my metal Dukes of Hazzard lunch pail and smashed him in the face with it, caving the whole side in and knocked him out cold in the process. He never laid another hand on me again.1 point

Virgil. weren't the majority of what you posted civil cases? And from the write up, the occurrance rate of Catholics is similar to other religions and almost half of the general popluation.1 point

I think they can take horn damage and not carry it into next years unless there is actual damage to the pedicle. I believe if the pedicle is damaged they basically carry that for life. I thik it would be like really smashing the tip of your finger and having you nail grow deformed from no on.1 point

This is an ugly incident looking at it from every perspective. I think everyone has some valid points and issues or fault can always be found looking backwards from the kids, to the monitor, to the bus driver,to the school, the parents, you can even bring the economy into the discussion. The reality is what is done is done so how can the folks directly involved as well as those that are following take away something meaniingful to apply going forward. Even though there is disgust and frustration and that wants to be directed at many of the people involved it would make sense to focus on what would be in our control going forward. I think Rochestergirl's response seemed to make the most sense: "If I was the parent, I would make my kid publicly apologize AFTER I sign them up for the summer to work with elders and learn how to respect them. Maybe after they hear and bond with those elderly folks, they will learn to respect them. They need not say they are sorry, but actually be sorry." I think there is a lot of merit in that form of discipline in this situation. It is always good to try and walk in another's shoes prior to condemning them - a lesson I have had to learn and continue to. I am usually not big on quotes but "Yesterday is not ours to recover, but tomorrow is ours to win or lose" - Lyndon B. Johnson I wish my 401K was growing at the rate of the monitor's donations.1 point

Pretty ugly video. It's a shame that some kids can act this way. I do believe it is a "mob mentality" thing. And I suspect that it probably is not the kind of thing that a majority (or even very many) of today's kids would find themselves involved in. But I do find it troubling that we have created a system where there seems to be so little that anyone can do about these things when they do occur. I see this kind of mentality as being a sign of troubled kids that will probably grow into troubled adults. These are the same kinds of kids that get their jollies by torturing pets, etc. (usually a pre-cursor to more advanced violent anti-social behavior).1 point

Yes this video sucks and I feel for her but that's not how all kids act. Those few should be hung out to dry! There is a bit of generalizing going on here and stereotyping. For everyone of those bad kids there are probably 5 that are good. This goes on all the time and not just in this generation.1 point

Someone setup a donation for the poor lady and so far they've raised over $35,000. Now I wish some kids can insult me.1 point

this video is only a small sampling of what happens to monitors or school bus drivers on a daily basis.. a monitor is put on a school bus as a sacrificial lamb so when something goes down and a brat is seriously injured or killed the bus company and district have someone to hang out to dry. its all about liability, if they really cared they would put specially trained personal on buses and give them the simple right to atleast defend themselves. its a corporation thing, if you havnt noticed almost all small school bus companies have been bought out by big transportation corps.1 point

The victim of an assault like this is never at fault for not reporting it. She probably feared getting fired if she reported it to the school principal. These kids are stupid! So stupid, they posted their own criminal convictions on You Tube. How stupid can you get? Their parents should have one chance to punish the kids for their actions, to the satisfaction of the entire community. If they fail to do it, or try to defend their spawn, they should be charged as accessories for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.1 point

I'll tell you EXACTLY how I can say that...because I worked as I middle thru high school monitor...as per seen on you tube and reported this had been going on for WEEKS not a single incident... Now I'm sorry your heart bleeds for an elderly woman that by her age alone should have been able to figure out she DID NOT have the skills nor physical aptitude to do that job...I will how ever amend it to 1/4 her fault...Half the school systems fault and1/4 the nasty little shits that did this for weeks...remember that word...WEEKS Now I don't know your circumstance but I'll tell you straight up...that I had my kids threaten me with SS...and A few times.... I offered to call them my self more than once...Now You ppl can blame the parents..... with no back ground.... but it was your precious school system that taught these kids all these high ideals of total rights...then will drop them in the judicial system first chance they get and blame it on the parents... Sorry but you want the kids to take responsibility...and damn well they should!! but the Adults need to take responsibility for their actions that led to this as well.... I'll also suggest if you hadn't ... read all my posts on this... Oh..perhaps you should call the Greece police that said..." We have seen no action in this incident that warrants adult charges.''...Really??!! what videos did he watch?1 point

A good hard smash in the mouth is what those kids need to straighten out. Yes I know everyone is afraid to get in trouble being videoed smacking a kid in the mouth but some times ya got to take the hit to do the right thing. Without it the kids will continue on their current path to a poor life and more people will end up as their victims. IN fact the principal should make them watch the video and then stand them up and slap their mouth for them in front of the whole gang and lets see how funny they think that is and how much bragging they do about getting bitch slapped. That's a lesson they won't soon forget.1 point

I see there are a few videos...this is not going to be popular...don't care...but half the fault is hers...So many ways to have handled that...there would not have been more than one video had she taken care of business toot sweet....I hope the parents had to sit in a room with her and their kids and authorities to watch those video's1 point

Some great hay making weather. Wait till 5 to bale. Cutting yesterday, 2 fawns laying right in the direct sun light by the treefoil and vetch. Had to shut the machine down, get off the tractor, and bump them to move. After I was done, looked back and they came back out and lay down. Their getting big.1 point
