I have done quite a bit of fishing in the Erie-Barge canal between Rome and Oneida lake, my main target was mostly Carp but I also caught good numbers of Walleyes, Small Mouth Bass, White Bass and Crappie and I ate them.
Were they safe?, I do not know for sure but they tasted good and I am still around.

I use a 7mm-08 for deer and I have to say I agree with the author.

Spreadsheets were made for this kind of application. The sorting abilities and the ease of storage and back-up make the data easy to keep track of. It's also easy to transfer existing pencil and paper data into the more formal electronic database.
I have a load data book I keep all my reload info. in and what book I got loads from. I shoot everything over a chronograph or ballistic radar. I write down everything.
We saw a dog running away when we were heading into the second stand of the night.
It disappeared over a hill, so we kept going, but we decided to split up to cover more ground.
This dog came right between the fields we set up in and I had to wait till it got into a safe area for me to fire.
Medium sized female.
Ah the Dorr brothers. I did some research on this group. They also run one in Ohio, Illinois and I believe a few other states. Never found to many positive reviews. I’d stick with a few of the ones Al listed
Yes, and whichever way one chooses to go about it it's still called "hunting". The meaning of the word doesn't change. Hunting has been around forever and I'm sure the hunters of 1000 years ago weren't challenging themselves and holding off for the biggest or best. They killed what they could to survive. We obviously don't need to hunt to survive these days but again the concept is the same as it always was.
I agree with airedale, these kinds of argumentative threads should be taken off into private messaging, just to maintain a little peace in the forum. Let's not get sucked into another one of those thread-fights. The two of you can battle it out privately.
The article is making a case for the 7mm-08 being the best whitetail round considering a multitude of factors from ballistics to recoil.
It doesn't claim other rounds aren't good for deer hunting. It simply makes a case why the 7mm-08 has advantages over other rounds. Nobody is saying anyone needs to buy a new rifle in 7mm-08, but if a new hunter is getting into deer hunting and needs his first deer rifle, the case being made is a 7mm-08 might be his best choice.
At the end of the article, the author even makes a request of the reader. He asks for a good debate. Is anyone going to accept his challenge and refute his case with counterpoints?
