  1. All is well with the poultry, I am getting eggs up the ying yang. My favorite is the giant Leige Fighter, I call him "Big John" he is broad in the shoulder and narrow at the hip and none of the other chickens give any lip to Big John. He got into a battle with an Asil Stag earlier in the spring and killed him so he is not anyone to mess with. He will weigh around 10 or 11 pounds and tall, I would say and still has a little growing to do as they do not fully mature until they are around 1 1/2 year old. I will take some more pics when I get a chance. Al

  3. Finally found a morning I could get out back and enjoy a sunrise. Busy spring planting and building pen’s keeps time tight. Perfect Morning!

  4. Hunted 5:30 to 7:30 heard a gobble at 5:45 then again around 6:30. Way off in the distance, that was it. Great sunrise!

  5. Day 4 tried a different spot with my cousin...same results, no birds heard. Ended our day short, getting down poured on by 9:30. Day off Sunday for a couple BD parties and out this morning again st my place before back to work tomorrow. So far, rain is holding off, it's foggy, and a deer just walked by with some geese sounding off in the background on the pond, as morning starts. No gobblimg so far, but a beautiful morning out here. Hopefully a gobbler decides to cooperate today. Good luck to all out there this morning.

  6. When it rains it pours and it only took a couple of minutes after dropping the first Mus before this unfortunate Mus came into range. I thought I missed it, but like the Mus I shot earlier, it moved a little and then moved no more. You know a Mus is dead when it doesn't move. SJC

  9. An update, these guys are growing like weeds, especially the Geese. The chickens are feathering out pretty good and I can tell what breeds I ended up with. Have a nice Belgium Liege Fighter stag and some really nice Asils. Al
