Oh THAT old man...ya know he hit 55 this DEC...we avoid that term around here..hahahaha It drives him a tad nuts....seeing he's more into fishing than hunting and well now he won't eat red meat...Then you have the fact that I am absolute hell on equipment...it's a curse really...lol I think I worry him...ya know dragging 200# ungutted deer out of the woods...or gutted doe 1400ft up hill out of the woods by my self....cutting good sized trees down.....out running the backhoe and tractors when no ones around..you know I'm 54?...I certainly do.... they all remind right after reminding me I'm not 30 any more...lol what they forget is I'm Irish/Native American...which is ageless...until my legs won't carry me any more

What a stupid question; does she have enough hits to get paid yet? I would surmise her attempt at gotcha is more self serving then to alert the public. Does Hillary or Obama know what our Foreign Policies is, not what they want it to be but what the actually policy is? I would hope our policy is different for every country in the world. Our soldiers do not need to know the policy, only the rules for engagement within their theater or mission.

i would have to say they should get fined . they kept it for 2 years . i saved one a couple of years ago it was laying next to its dead mother . i took it to a rehab place . thats what they should of done . yes i wanted to keep it but knew it was best for the fawn .

2 things ive learned 1st, never buy a scope in a bubble pack,(boxed only) second, dont be suprised if you have as much money in glass as you do the gun. i have several nikkons and a couple of leupolds and an assortment of cheapys. if you are depending on the gun cant go wrong with nikkon or leupold. if its a cost issue stick with the iron sights until it not an issue.

Who's the cop hater? Who's the one that called other members low lives? It is possible to criticize the police, and to criticize police policy or unproductive waste by police departments without "hating police." The hating police argument is a strawman fallacy built up to discredit any valid criticism leveled at police tactics/behaviors/policies. Just as any government agency creates arguments in defense of itself which tries rather than to prop itself up, to rip the side making such detracting arguments down. It was a video about Muhammad that made those people kill the ambassador, it wasn't our failure in the state department. Fast and Furious was a great idea. We had no idea that guns we sold to Mexican Drug Cartels would be used in murders. It's not DoJ or BATFU's fault. If you criticize the police, regardless of what they did -- even if it was shooting a 90 year old woman after serving a no-knock warrant at the wrong address -- well you're obviously just a criminal that hates cops. It's nonsense and you know it. Valid criticism of any agency by taxpayers is what this country is about. Only in modern history have we become a cult of the golden badge.

Lets just all agree and put things into perspective....There are good and bad ppl in law enforcement...It is a dangerous job at times and these ppl choose to take that risk to improve their way of living. These facts are no different than...There are good and bad ppl in all fields of employment and just like ppl that work on oil rigs... coal mines...the armed services or pilots some jobs hold inherent risks ...ones they chose to take to improve their way of life. The one difference is because police are hired by the state or county to serve and protect...the ppl in authority should be held accountable for whom they choose to do this job and the level of competency with in their work force..when you have the management of this work force making statements such as.... Well I personally find that disturbing

Yeah, ok. No one, or anything is immune to "flaws." But it is clear you want to bash cops at every opportunity. That is fine. I am not here (on this site) to talk about Law enforcement, cops or anything pertaining to that. When I see a post on that subject that is errornous, I might reply. But I am not going to be baited by you, or your buddy, who do not like LEO's. That is all. YOU carry on.

I do not think the NYPD has any jurisdiction to ask anyone on a public street for their ID, in DC. I could very well be wrong if they were deputized wiith some local authority. The physically standing in the way, well thats what any bodyguard would do. As far as the point being made, I get it. The "elite," in this country will always be well protected. Geno, I agree, sometimes the ones "on our side" dont always put us in the most favorable light.

Ditto I don't know a whole lot of cops / LEO's. I do work with ENCON and the state police commercial vehicle enforcement units from time to time and went to college with a guy that's now a forest ranger. I also went to high school with one of the first officer's on scene in the Webster shootings. I am proud to say i went to school with him. He was a great guy in High School, hard working, honest, and a stand up guy. Mark Reed Out of everyone i have worked with / know (maybe two dozen) I can think of maybe two who consistently under preform. I think they are like anyone else, they are people. There are good ones, bad ones and indifferent ones. If your an LEO god bless and stay safe. If your an under achieving LEO you know what you should be doing. If your not an LEO try and think before you post.

Actually, I think Jason Mattera did it the right way-hit them right on the spot. Amazing how dumbfounded they seem to be when you do that. Love it!

Suffolk county does not require college, which i never understood since they are some of the highest paid salaries in the country... i have alot of cop freinds one of which was just sworn in to Suffolk 2 years ago.
