  1. Steve D, you are can legally load 10 rounds in your magazine.
  2. Congrats Rick! I certainly agree, they look and work great.
  3. Great pics as always. Ground cover is periwinkle.
  4. The only way to know is to pattern it. I don't think drop was your problem. That Hevi-13 is actually not steel like waterfowl loads. Its a non toxic blend that is heavier than lead. Its pretty much the best shell you can buy.
  5. Don't think you did anything worthy of a bashing at all. That's hunting. It doesn't always work out perfectly. That rig you are shooting is certainly capable of a 50 yard kill. I'm assuming you patterned it first.
  6. Aaah, read that post a little too fast. Was thinking he was trying to use .38 special ammo. FWIW, I heard that Macks Prairie Wings, will sell shotgun ammo to us.
  7. Does Natchez and Midway sell ammo to NY again?
  8. Don't even think about it. Not only would it not function, your .380 is designed to shoot ammo at .380 pressures, and could blow up in your hand if you feed it something not designed for.
  9. Just in case someone is considering buying a call from Rick Howard. Buy with confindence. I bought a maple burl that looks and sounds awesome. Highly recommended.
  10. Oh Piggy just having some fun, don't be so crotchety. As clueless as you are, I'm surprised you even picked up on it. You must have googled it. I wont resort to the name calling though.
  11. I can't stand that liberal rag paper. The only mindless zombies are the morons reading that thing.
  12. Who did the pillow bedding? It should make the action nice and soft..
  13. I'm unfamiliar with your Klingon language. Do you speak it fluently? 3 wildcat cartridges.
  14. It was next to the Elk and Antelope meat, you must have missed it.. Obviously you can substitute farm pork for the unfortunate.
  15. I had that one and just recently sold it. For 500 yards and under it worked great. After that it just wasn't consistent. Bought the Leica 1600B and love it.
  16. I mix in a little wild hog and top with burger dust. Perfect.
  17. Your really not necking down. They are both .22 cal. You are trying to form. It can be done. By the looks of that case, you went to fast with not enough lube. I use imperial sizing wax. Just go slow try small increments. Then when formed, you will have to trim.
  18. Go to walmart.com. The Tasco cameras are $35 each. Perfect starter camera. I bought 4.
  19. Wildcat is correct on the process. Good thing about using a socket and drill is the deep socket holds the case and acts as a heat sink. Just the shoulder and neck are exposed. For accuracy reasons (neck tension) you want to be as consistent as possible. Only takes roughly 8 seconds. You can buy some templaq if you are worried about heating too much.
  20. Yes, very normal. Just FYI, if you plan to anneal, there is no need to quench the cases in water. Does nothing for the annealing process. Just cools them off. Also, a cordless drill with a deep socket works better than fingers.
  21. Yes, also depends on how you shoot it. I have one in 6-284 very much overbore. Should last around 800 rounds. It's my go to 1000 plus yard rifle.
  22. Not really. Shilen and Criterion have been around a long time and proven. The X calibers are a new company out of Montana, but so far very good, lower cost. They are all button rifling. Your just going to need a barrel nut wrench and go and no go gauges.
