  1. I shoot 71 pounds. I have shot a lot of deer with this bow, had it since 2005, with fixed blades and have always had complete pass throughs at varying distances.
  2. Anybody have any issues with Rage Hypodermic broadheads failing? I had 2. First was buck at 20 yards broadside, perfect shot, blades opened and broke inside and came out like a field tip. Killed him, but way too long and obviously blades shouldnt have broke, didnt touch shoulder. Second was another buck, 23 yards broadside, shot behind shoulder, no penetration, assuming blades broke again, arrow broke off in him. Hardly any blood trail. Just found him yesterday in a lake after 4 months. After seeing the shot on him, right behind the shoulder I'm sure if it was a fixed blade, its a pass through and quick recovery. After 27 years of using fixed blades, I had a friend talk me into trying them. Never again. Just curious if anybody else had an issue.
  3. Thanks Curmudgeon. Apparently need to work on my raptor identification. Both birds in bottom pic juvi bald eagles also? I have to go through my pics, I thought I had a eagle that looked like a golden, standing next to a mature bald, and was much bigger. On a side note, I was out in south texas hog hunting last week and saw many of those Caracara eagles. Pretty cool.
  4. Curmudgeon, just checked my carcass cam last week. First time doing it. It was up at my camp in Meredith, Delaware County. I had 2 goldens and at least 1 bald eagle. Besides the crows, ravens, grey fox, coyotes. Had the cam out since thanksgiving, eagle pics were late December I believe. Love the bottom pic.
  5. Not cool on that guys part. You shot it. That being said, if I thought I made a good shot like you said, I would have been back the very next morning. Not days later.
  6. was thinking the same thing. Another example of why you can't believe everything on the internet. Great buck.
  7. Absolutely love it. I must have watched it a dozen times, love how his head bounces off the floor. Got what he deserved. Hard to tell from the vid but it may have been a .45 ACP that got him.
  8. Big supporter of police huh. Another armchair quarterback. "approaching officers with a large knife when he was hit by the police vehicle". Is all I needed to read. I'm sure you and a few others on this board could have done a better job..
  9. Can't zoom in on pic but looks like a grouse maybe. Cool pics.
  10. Absolutely positively no excuse.
  11. Yeah blur, I agree. Hey, what's that deer on the left in your pic?
  12. I'll never use rage again. Had this happen last week. Buck was hit perfect behind shoulder at 21 yards. Blades broke off inside deer. Arrow came out far side like a field tip.
  13. Where's Uptown Libtard now?? Hahahahaha
  14. I doubt Uptown Libtard is even a hunter. Doesn't even know what deer crap looks like. Just likes to post liberal garbage on a hunting site.
  15. That sucks, hopefully he'll come through. Otherwise you can relist it for free once you notify GB. I sold a $1800 handgun last month and after beating out several bidders, the guy asks me if I can wait 2 MONTHS for payment. Unbelievable.
  16. Most have a favorite projectile they prefer. Those gamekings are pretty good. I used to use mostly Nosler and Hornady, and they are great. But for pure accuracy, nothing beats a Berger.
  17. I don't see the problem. I shoot a deer in the heart/lungs, and I should be worried about eating the meat? Must be missing something.
  18. One of the most ridiculous statements made on this forum. And there have been a lot. Congrats.
  19. Agreed. I think most people missed the true meaning of what I said...
  20. Terrible parenting for sure. I think that gorilla thought that kid was his own..
