  1. Do they also train the deer to walk past the tree stands..lol
  2. Its going to be that time soon, just a few more days Thanks for sharing the pics.
  3. Sorry to hear that, but if you are feeling no ill effects. Get out there and shoot some deer.
  4. Its rising temps but rising pressure, will be a great morning to be in the stands in between feed and bedding
  5. Share the contractor info plz if you are satisfied with the work , maybe in a PM if you dont mind.
  6. wow 8H..really Just tell me which town so I stay away..lol
  7. ah..I get what you were asking. You dont have to bone out the quarters if you plan to hang them but when its fresh and warm it can be done easy enough to pack out a deer in a single trip.
  8. Its easy to take all that you listed without gutting
  9. Great point, @heavuser I am happy to step in what will it take..lol
  10. If you have doubts send me the coordinates and i will happily burn my tag to get it aged for you Good Luck getting him.
  11. It seems to be raining in the video, he is not spooked just scent checking for sure.
  12. Another win!! Were coyotes on it or just Luna having fun tearing the fur out?
  13. When its a gutshot, i wont even open the cavity further. Use the gut less method and debone where it lays.
  14. First 2 weeks of november ..never fails
  15. It will be easy to drop as it was still green this yr. Not a professional but I have dropped a few hundred ash trees and a few hundred more to do, sadly all are dead now. Take your time and you have enough space to safely drop that one away from your blind
  16. 8 or 10 ft trunk weighs enough to kill ..please cut it down. Next spring the top branches will start breaking off that dead tree.
  17. i have thrown triticale in fall in the middle of the woods around October20 and it sprouted enough in 3 weeks for deer to come to eat during gun season. I like the saying " if you are not failing you are not even trying". Do something anything and learn from it.
  18. Also if you can find rye(not grass) cereal seed.. you can just spread it now and hunt over it this yr.
  19. Roundup now and throw some seed for clover. Its still 50-60 degree daytime temps
