  1. To make you ask stupid questions like that.
  2. Thanks. I just giggled again & woke her up for like the 3rd time tonight. Lost my Internet privileges for the night.
  3. This was from sighting in my little Hawken last year. I got carried away, & a little obsessive trying to get perfect groups. Anyone who says muzzleloaders don't kick, hasn't shot one like mine. Not sure what's up with the bruising on my arm, since the pain was in my shoulder. Maybe the blood leaked down and collected there?
  4. What a hunt! Now I see what some of you are so excited about! Never heard of anybody getting one in a barn before.
  5. You're too easy. It's almost not fun anymore. And no, I don't tell Jr to walk away. If some bully touches him, I tell him to walk up and punch the kid right in the face.
  6. Follow you? There's simply no escaping the amazingly stupid things you post. It's unavoidable.
  7. Yeah, the thing is you never see me jumping on anyone, & pretending my s$$t doesn't stink. Get the point? Hypocrite?
  8. How did you get to 90? Driving down the face of Mt Rushmore?
  9. Directly east would be ideal for me, but I don't really care about it in this spot. There's so many guys around that deer won't be able to get away from human scent anyway. That's why I'm set up in the thickest, steepest, & nastiest spot around. Hoping to intercept them as they make their way into the cover. I have no idea which way they will come from, as there's trails & logging rds coming from several directions. Snow will screw me though. Any precipitation with temps at 34 or lower, & work will call us in. I'll be out salting the hwy all day.
  10. I'd still be sick over it, too. A little payback might help you feel better. It's never too late, if they really deserve it. Perfect, because he'll have no idea who did it or why. I'm sure you're not the only one he's screwed. I read this somewhere & always liked it- "Revenge is a dish best served cold"
  11. Go to his house late this friday night. Crawl under his truck, & pull out his oil drain plug. Make sure you catch the oil in a jug so he doesn't get tipped off. Put the plug back in & leave. That would still not be enough to repay him. I mean, that's what you could do if you were the vindictive type.
  12. They sell biodegradable bolts for this purpose. I saw them at Field & Stream. They come in like a 12 pack.
  13. Was it one of the aluminum ones? Never used one of them, but they seem kinda junky. I've got cast iron ones, & they've gotten red hot (by accident), but never melted.
  14. Thanks all! I'm still smiling about it.
  15. You guys ever heard of a pie-iron? Best camp cooking tool ever. Those are pizzas in this pic. You can cook pretty much anything you can imagine in it. Grilled cheese, bannock, pbj, pancakes, eggs, burger, on & on. Once the iron gets hot, it only takes about a minute to cook whatever's in it. The best part is it's easy cleanup and I can cook while sitting on the couch in front of the fire.
