You know I questioned whether or not it was the same buck also. I am not 100% that they are the same deer, I am kind of hoping that the aren't because 2 is better than 1! I am pretty sure it is the same deer just a different angle but I can always hope it is 2 different bucks. I will keep you guys updated on this deer for sure I really hope to get him.

Got a pic of this 8pt that was right under my stand in broad daylight the one day that I decided to hunt a different stand. In the area of NY that I hunt this is like a 200" whitetail out west, they just usually don't get this big around here. How wide do you think he is? GOd I hope I get a crack at him!

My buddy shotts a Monster and is dead on out to 70. I personally won't shoot at a deer over 40, I have a 50yd pin dailed in and I guess if the right opportunity was there I might use it but I try not to!

If I had to pick 1 stand it would be #5 in the evening. It is between what I would figure a bedding and feeding area in a small draw. The problem is wiith hunting it in the morning is I feel like you would spook anything in the fields trying to get in the stand. Where do you come in from? Man I wish I had that piece of property to hunt.

30% chance of rain with wind Saturday, Sunday looks good around me. Deer move in the rain but they don't like the wind. I have prob seen more deer in the rain than anything else.

I have shot them all! Fixed and mechanical, Muzzy's to Rage and let me tell you the Rage 2 blades are the BEST! I used to shoot the three blade until there was question about them being legal. I have shot several deer with the 2blades and they leave a HUGE hole. I actually made a bad shot on a doe last year and ended up hitting her in the hind leg. Usually this would be a problem but with the Rage 2 blad it actually blew the rear leg off and she blead out. And when I say blew it off I mean split the bone in half and the leg was missing. Not proud of the shot but impressed with the broadhead for sure. I will never shoot anything else again.

Funny you say this because I have been noticing the exact same thing. I have my trailcams on runs that I know the deer use every deer and I can't get a pic of a buck. Funny part is I was glassing an area that I have a camera and haven't had a single pic of a buck as of last week and I saw 4 bucks last night in that area. They were 50yds from the camera in a field so I am hoping things are changing and the deer are getting back in their fall habbits!

I cut that deeer from the sternum to the hole I just spread the chest cavity apart and dumped all the blood out of her carefully. I can't wait to hammer a buck in a couple weeks!

Hunted up in Saratoga for the Northern Zone opener and had some luck in the morning. I ended up seeing four does and a spike. Shot a doe at 25yds and she folded up within 20yds. Those RAGE 2 blades do some serious damage! The mosquitos were AWEFUL all day though, almost unbearable. Didn't see any deer in the evening but it was very warm out so I think they stayed put until after dark.

I actually do have a Thermacell and let me tell you something THEY WORK! It is incredible how the skeeters dissapear when you turn that thing on. the problem is I don't like to run it alot becasue I feel liek the deer can smell it. I mean if I can smell it and see the smoke burning from it the deer have to be able to also. During turkey season I run it at all times.

Bear? Are you guys kidding me? Definitely NOT a bear. I wish there was something in the pic of the track to show you how big it is.... not 100% on what it is but I do know one thing, it isn't two bears in that pic

I have that same exact camera and haven't had that issue. Maybe you should face the camera in a different direction.

Nice pics! You know for the price of those Reconyx cameras though they it doesn't seem like they really take a high quality pic... why do they get so much money for them? Do you like yours?
