The deer get use to them and don't pay attention . Checking the straps is very important . I carry an extra set of ratchet straps in my backpack during hunting season .
Melons work good for woodchuck bait . They give off a sweet odor . I bought some melon woodchuck liquid bait at Gander Mt years ago and put it on lettuce . That worked until I loaned the bottle to a friend who lost it . Small bottle cost $9 and they quit carrying the stuff .
If you do "catch and release " you are creating a problem for someone else . Some people release them in the country and they become a farmer's problem .

I think bee keepers are scarce in NY . Friends of ours have a huge Apple Farm . They have paid a bee keeper from Florida to come to their orchards . The bee keeper does other farms in Wayne County also .
Has anyone used this for ticks or mosquitoes ? I bought a box of 48 at BJ's for $12.99 plus tax . My wife bought a box of 40 at Amazon for $25 plus tax . I have used different sprays for mosquitoes and never liked them so I thought I would try these .
