  1. I lost a Canon Power Shot SX130 digital camera . I had it in a Camo Camera case . It had an extra 5 SD cards that I used to swap out the cards in my Trail Cams with . I retraced my steps a half dozen times and had no luck finding it . I bought another one and all I see for cases that fit are black in color . I need something in Blaze Orange !
  2. Its a bit nippy here in Honeoye Falls. My butt is cold Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  3. Maybe I will get off my lazy butt and do some reloading for my son . He wants to shoot his 44 mag more for practice . I don't like reloading the 44 mags as the bullets aren't tapered at the bottom like others ahd I have ruined a couple cases . Gotta get out and do some walking also . I find that it gets the metabolism going and helps burn up some calories .
  4. Two days left for ML . Going to my son's property in Honeoye Falls in a few minutes . Will be sitting in a blind out of the wind . Maybe not .... wind is from the SSW which is the direction I will be facing . At least I will be down wind .
  5. Another great review .... as normal . Looks like a good deal .
  6. A few years ago a hunter was shooting at a deer on the North side of Rt 104 and put a slug through a window by the entrance of Phil's Auto . The land at the shop is probably at least 10 feet higher than the field level plus the hole in the window was another 5 1/2 feet from the ground . So , I wonder what the heck the guy was shooting at ........ Phil's son , Mike , had just walked past the window a few seconds earlier . Had he been a tad bit slower , he would be dead . The slug crossed Rt 104 ( 4 lanes of traffic ) , entered a window ( 15+ feet higher than the area the shooter was standing ) , through a wall and stopped at a steel column . The shooter was apprehended by the authorities .
  7. Fishing story.................. Donald and Hillary Go Fishing in the Winter!!! How do you settle a presidential election when the vote is too close to call? With an fishing contest in northern Wisconsin in January, of course! After the first round of votes were counted, Hillary and Donald were deadlocked. Instead of going through a recount, they agreed to a week-long ice fishing contest to settle the election. Whoever caught the most fish at the end of the week would be the President. They decided that a remote frozen lake in northern Wisconsin would be the ideal place. No observers on the fishing grounds, but both would need to have their catches verified and counted each night at 5 pm. After Day 1, Trump returned with a total of 10 fish, Hillary came back with nothing. Day 2 finished, and Trump caught another 20 fish, but Hillary once again came back with nothing. That night, Hillary and her cronies got together and accused Trump of being a “low-life, cheating’ son-of-a-gun.” Instead of fishing on Day 3, they were going to follow and to spy on him and figure out how he was cheating. Day 3 finished up and Trump had an incredible day, adding 50 fish to his total ! That night, Hillary and her democratic cohorts got together for the full report on how Donald was cheating. Hillary stood up to give her report and said,
  8. I will be heading to Honeoye Falls tomorrow afternoon . A friend got a few there the other day .
  9. Growie --- are you near Big Flats ? They have a Target Store but I don't know if they have the refrigerated food . (607) 796-5910
  10. Looks like it would be a gut shot . Quartering to is a bad shot to take . Any news on deer recovery ?
  11. Not hunting. We are in Potsdam and much less snow than in Ontario. Did a lot of rubber necking on the way and never saw any deer. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  12. We only had about 6 inches and I cleared the driveway . Neighbor had been out and said the roads are pretty bad . It started snowing again so we are waiting to leave for Potsdam . It all the way up to 16 degrees now . A regular heat wave !
  13. We give the mail man a Gift Card to Unos . He likes that .
  14. Belo ... I had a root problem also . I rented a roto-rooter or what ever it is called from Secor Hardware aka Do It Best and it chomped the roots pretty good . I had to dig down almost 4 feet and replace a section of the pipe outside . I almost fell into the hole head first and would have if it hadn't been for a wide body . Some roots really messed up the pipe . You have to be careful when using one of those rooters and wear HEAVY gloves . A quick stop and the cable can wrap around your hand .
  15. I have had 3-4 inches of water in the basement when my sump pump failed . We have a Colonial . The next door neighbors have raised ranches with no problem . We have a silt that gets in the pump and ruins the impeller . I found that I should replace the sump pump at least every 4 years . Not a bad investment at $25 a year . The last time it overflowed , the rod for the float had rusted and broke so the float didn't work .
  16. I was out earlier today doing some errands before it started snowing and blowing . Wow , what a change . I thought some limbs were going to come down . You could really hear the wind howling ! Gotta get up early tomorrow and clear the driveway as we will be heading to Potsdam for the weekend . One of our grandsons is graduating from Clarkson College . I hate the snow ! How's the weather where you are at ?. Anyone hunt in this heat today ?
  17. The Vitamix my wife bought has a 7 year Warranty on hers and she said she has had it for 4 years so far . I might try grinding up some small limbs in the Spring with it .
  18. IT'S SATIRE FOLKS ........... 13 Times Russian Hackers Sabotaged Clinton’s Presidential Campaign BLAKE NEFF Hillary Clinton, accompanied by Bill, pauses as she concedes the presidential election at the New Yorker Hotel. Justin Sullivan/Getty Images. Many conservatives and Trump supporters have been dismissive of the possibility that interference by Russian hackers changed the outcome of the 2016 election. But they would do well to rethink things. Even a cursory look at the events of the past few years reveals Russian meddling was absolutely decisive in denying Clinton her rightful position as president-elect. Here’s a quick rundown of 13 major moments where Clinton’s seemingly invincible presidential campaign was brought down thanks Russian hacking efforts: 1996: Russian Spetsnaz special forces pepper Clinton with sniper rifle fire as she lands in Sarajevo after the Bosnian War. Shortly after, Russian hackers destroy all video footage of this event, replacing it with fake news accounts that Clinton’s visit was peaceful. Clinton’s unbelievable bravery in Bosnia is subsequently disbelieved. Jan. 28, 2009: Russia-financed black hat hackers in Donetsk, Ukraine, hack Clinton’s personal Blackberry and modify the emails she sends. An email demanding that Clinton follow all Department of State email rules is quietly deleted, and replaced with a spoof email demanding the creation of a private email server stored at her personal home in New York. May 2013: A Russian hack of Clinton’s teleprompter modifies her speech to Banco Itau, altering her speech to say that her dream is “open borders” with the entire Western Hemisphere, instead of her original dream of “safe, well-regulated borders.” February 2015: Chinese hackers in the employ of Moscow penetrate the Clinton Foundation and alter its payroll to pay men far more than women, causing the Clinton campaign embarrassment when this big imbalance is brought up, undermining their efforts to run a campaign on closing the pay gap. May, 2015: Rudolph Epstein, a minor Clinton staffer co-opted by a Russian hacker’s girlfriend, convinces Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook to outsource the campaign’s decision-making to a computer program named Ada. The program, though, is simply the work of hackers from Novosibirsk, who use it as a vehicle to sabotage Clinton’s campaign while promoting various fake news storylines. The program steadily supplies Clinton with terrible ideas, such as printing off literal “woman cards” and joking about wiping her email server “with a cloth.” Dec. 22, 2015: A group of Moscow hackers gain access to Clinton’s campaign website, posting an embarrassing fake news article about how “Hillary Clinton is just like your abuela.” This fake news damages Clinton’s campaign by causing an unjustified backlash from the public who regard it as ethnic pandering by Clinton. March 13, 2016: A Russian spy in Clinton’s campaign swaps out her primary debate notes with doctored copies produced by Russian intelligence. The doctored notes include a line saying Clinton wants to put coal miners out of work, which Clinton mistakenly reads, alienating working class whites across the country. March 15, 2016: The same Russian spy implants electrodes on an unsuspecting Clinton’s neck as she takes a nap, causing her to later bark like a dog during a rally in Reno, Nevada. April 10, 2016: Russian agents in New York City advance $4 million into Bill de Blasio’s bank account, bribing him to make a joke about being on “C.P time” (colored people time) in his delayed endorsement of Clinton for president. The nefarious ploy costs Clinton thousands of black voters in swing states. Sept. 7, 2016: Revolutionary Russian technology allows hackers to “hack” Clinton’s memories, causing her to forget entirely about the Benghazi attack and claim no Americans have died in Libya. Sept. 11, 2016: Biologists tied to the Russian space agency, Roscosmos, use satellites to broadcast damaging rays directly into Clinton’s brain stem, causing her to abruptly collapse at a Sept. 11 memorial service after just 90 minutes outside in mild weather. Oct. 18, 2016: Armenian hackers tied to Moscow burrow into Clinton’s campaign bank account, diverting $1 million meant for voter turnout operations in Michigan to the non-competitive states of Indiana and Missouri. For good measure, the hackers also cancel a $2 million ad buy in Pennsylvania and Florida, buying replacement ads in Arizona instead. Nov. 2, 2016: A hacker collective in Smolensk diverts Clinton’s campaign plane away from General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee, forcing her to instead land in Tempe, Arizona, and campaign there. Thanks to this interference, Clinton doesn’t have a single campaign stop in Wisconsin and narrowly loses the state to Donald Trump.
  19. Ham ! I love ham . We are taking one to my son's house for Christmas dinner . Not sure what ham the wife is getting but I always liked the Spiral Cut Ham from Aldi's !
  20. My wife has a Vitamix . That damn thing is powerful ! I bet I could use it for a wood chipper . The only time I use it at all is to grind coffee beans . That only takes a few seconds . The Vitamix is expensive so I never asked how much she paid as my heart probably couldn't take it . My wife is a health nut and has a smoothie every day using Kale , veggies , and other crap . The color looks like she is drinking a gut shot deer . Thank heavens it doesn't smell !
