    They did a series of shows on ginseng picking on the History Channel a few months ago . The guys who collected it paid big bucks to the pickers . The pickers would fight each other over the rights to various properties . Some of the pickers would take a berry from the plant they picked and bury it to grow another plant that would take 10+ years to mature .

    There was an article in the Rochester D&C several months ago about the bee shortage . The long cold winter killed off several colonies . One bee keeper said he lost 60% of his bees . Some of this was also blamed on the pesticides used on crops as well as GMO crops . A friend of mine who has apple orchards in Williamson had a bee keeper from Florida come up with his bees to pollinate the fruit trees .

    If you GOOGLE ground bees , they claim they are not aggressive . B.S. ! I have been caught off guard a few times by not knowing they were there . Once one of them stings you , others can track you down . I got rid of some a few years ago with a Bee Bomb that I bought from Country Max and made a video . Now if I can find that .............     I know it's about rabbits but I caught a mole and a couple of chipmonks in traps . I have a mole that digs under the bird feeders and I cannot catch that little bugger . Usually there would be rabbits around but I havn't seen any this year .

    Wow , I havn't camped in Allegeny State Park in about 45 years . I can't even remember what Salamanca looked like . I do recall the place was loaded with Racoons though !

    Instead of going to the Recent Topics list , I , personally go to View New Content . It has the New Topics plus threads that have been added to .... much simpler .

    I voted yes . Although I get irritated with so many threads turning into a political bit , I don't like the idea of Strict rules and censoring . If I did , I would be over on Archery Talk where , if you don't say things just right , you get censored or booted . And ....... since this concerns politics , why is it in the Chit Chat Forum ? Hmmmmmm

    My son bought the bow a couple years ago . The problem he has is that it came with 70# limbs . He has it turned down to 53 - 55 # as 70# was too much for him . He recently purchased a Matthews 50# draw bow .     I used some on a few spots of weeds and thought it wasn't working . A couple days later the grass was burned where I used it . I recall seeing a recipe to make weed killer with vinigar , liquid soap and salt but can't find it .
