What a great hunting partner !

I haul mine in a utility trailer . I either have the ATV , a sled or wheel barrow to get it to the trailer .

I have had pics of bucks on the cams . I enjoy seeing whatever is out there . I picked up a Wildgame Trail Pad today at DICKs so I can check the cards right at the stands .

I bought some chain and used that in place of cables on a stand .

Same here . I have a 500 yard range finder that I havn't used since I bought a Halo ARC with a distance compensator . I try to range something at 20 yards and then at 30 to get an idea for a shot when a deer comes in range .

What does the shooting test consist of .... ? I realize it would be for accuracy but what distances and what kind of accuracy . I don't plan on doing it but I have always been curious as to what the test results have to be .

DICK's has a good deal on the Delta McKenzi Real Tree 27" Pro Shot Bag Target . $49.99 with a $20 rebate . Bought it with some hiking shoes using a $20 coupon . Sat the target on the passenger seat and the seat alarm went off telling me that the bag was heavy enough for a seat belt . Yeah , that sucker is heavy . Took it out in the back yard to try it out . Minimal penetration compared to my Monster Bag or 3-D deer target . Looks like it will hold up quite well . Had a heck of a time getting a Rebate Form . None in the store . After making a couple phone calls and spending 20+ minutes on the phone I finally figured out how to get it . It was so simple when they would have a rebate slip right at the store . Anyway I saved $40 ...........

Gee , they are both bows . Why would they use different broadheads ?

They aren't really camo but at 1st glance look it . The back tag looks a bit camo .... more so than the individual tags .

Went up to the Town Clerk's office . Got my ML , Bow and DMPs for *8H and 8F . The gal said it has been slow compared to last year .

Mine came in the mail today . They are Camo colored which surprised me . Still have to go and get the Bow / Muzzle loader and apply for doe tags which won't cost me anything ............

I paid big bucks for my Lifetime hunting license . They offered it to us old farts a few years ago for $50 ....... that's right fifty dollars . It was a great investment !

If the deer are on a trail , I pull them off to the side a bit and leave the gut pile there after field dressing . The pile is usually gone in a day or two . I shot a doe that was standing in a gut pile that my son left the day before in South Bristol . I hunted with a crew in Fishers one day and the landowner had a rule that any guts had to be hauled away . The guy that put the hunt together shot a buck and put the guts in a garbage bag . The landowner has a dog that wanders and puked up some guts he ate one time . You hunt an area , you follow the owner's rules . What was funny was a guy took a break and had a couple slices of pizza with him . He tossed the crusts and the dog got them . The landowner came looking for the pizza eater ............

I have a 10' high stand in the back yard that I practice from .

I wouldn't have thought that possible . Better to have it happen while waxing instead of when a shooter is in front of you .

I had some in my attic that the exterminator didn't kill . He was leaving for the weekend and left me to take care of the problem . I had to do something as the siding crew was working on the house . I had a couple cans of Flea Bombs in the cupboard . I duct taped one to an extension pole , popped the button and pushed it in the corner by the nest . The next day there was just a few of them flying so late that afternoon , I went back to the attic ,pulled the insulation back with the pole and used the other can . No more bees . Depending on your shed size , the flea bombs might work .
