50 years ago today I married my wonderful wife ........... Anyone remember the wide "white-wall tires" on the Pontiac ?

No matter what you do , it all comes out the same . If it doesn't , you did something wrong . Neat !

I hunted a stand in Groveland one morning . Had a BB go by and a 7 point busted me as I wasn't expecting a deer coming from his direction . I had lunch at my mother's and then went out and set up a ladder stand 80 yards East of the one that I had used in the am . Shot a deer at 18 yards late in the afternoon .

Bull Hockey ! I have had venison that was packaged over a year and never had a problem with it for smell or taste .

If you still have money , you aren't giving enough !

I think I just drooled on my keyboard !

I bet some of that Zombie ammo would take care of those Turkeys !

I went up to vote at the Republican Primary at 6 pm . I was #26 . Apparently no one cares who represents them until it's too late !

Be very careful around Hogweed . Don't mess with it unless you read up on it 1st !

I have never seen the stuff but there were many articles on Hogweed the past couple of years . They say , DO NOT TOUCH the stuff . If can cause serious burns . I would read up on the Hogweed and figure out how to get rid of it . Apparently it spreads quick .

When I was looking for a new vehicle for 2009 , I checked out the Jeeps . They all had bad reviews . I settled for a new 2009 Subaru Forester .

It's not a major catastrophe as I may have made it sound . I am upset that it is done by County rather than going to any place else . The person I talked to was at the Wayne County Veteran's Service Agency in Lyons , NY .

I was doubtful but the results made me a believer . I walked out of the store wondering if I had been had but was surprised and impressed after running a patch up and down the barrel of a rifle I thought would be clean .

I stopped at the Walworth Custom Gun Shop last week and bought some cleaning supplies for the 50 cal in-lines . Dave Dentico has manufactured a variety of bore cleaning jags . I bought the 50 cal jag and a kit with bore paste and oil as well as some round patches . I was a bit sceptical about the purchase but tried it out on the in-line I had cleaned with a bore brush a couple weeks ago . I was amazed at the crap that I got out of the barrel . I have a tendency to place cameras where there are limbs , bushes , etc that move in a breeze that trips the camera with no wildlife pics .

Regulator ----- You put a camera where wildlife has been known to pass by , etc .. Sometimes I have gotten over 1000 pics taken with only 20 or so good photos of deer or whatever .

Maybe a Chubracka ........ waiting to pounce on a meal

Both Monroe County and Wayne County told me that I can only get it through Wayne County and it is not yet available to do and won't be until sometime in September . I just might call the Canandaigua office and see what they tell me . Thanks ...........

Like I said , that venison goes better in my freezer than someone elses . I help the farmer by shooting a couple doe and then have an open door to hunt during deer season . If I don't do it someone else will ans it's going to get done one way or another . Yeah , it's not hunting , it's shooting . What's the difference between shooting a deer at 100 yards with a rifle or "hunting" them during regular season with a rifle and shooting them at 100 yards or more ? Hmmmmm !
