Wuthers -- You have "Upstate" listed as your location ..... Are you in the Bronx ? I belong to a club and get the Senior rate of $30 per year . I work a part time job Installing / Removing real Estate signs and have access to discarded panels . So I repair or make target holders with the panels . I pick up discarded 2" X whatever lumber and rip it for the target uprights . The guys with the semi-rifles tear the heck out of the targets and lumber . I use the rifle range to sight in and have used the 50 yard range for pistol and BP . There is a Certification Class that must be attended and paid for . It covers Range Safety , etc .. The club in in the process of building another shooting house , making the range Key accessable , raising the height of the berms , having Tactical Shoots and a few other things . The club has competative Trap shoots . I volunteered to help with the 3-D archery set-up but that is up in the air . The club has had a 30 target 3-D shoot in the woods in the past but not enough help to keep it up . The Ontario Rod & Gun Club is only a mile from my house . I walk over and put up new sign in sheets periodically . Williamson has a much nicer range but costs more and would be a farther drive . Clubs are safe places to shoot and certainly much safer that going out to a woods to sight in a rifle , etc .

Someone spends money in the community , creates jobs and gets hassled by the Unions . It sucks . I worked for a Union for 6 years and got out of it . All the shop chairman did was take care of the lazy shitbirds ! The 1st day of work , I got hollared at for sweeping the floor of a Dock because it wasn't my job . I was told that if I did it again , I could be repremanded . I worked that area for two weeks and it was pretty much a Pig Sty !

It's kinda crazy ...... it's okay to sell it but illegal to use it . ?????? Tractor Supply also sells the deer attractant . If the stores are catering to "Deer Farms" why not make it necessary that you are purchasing for a Legal Deer Farm and not be allowed to sell to others . Another response is the store saying that people buy it for hunting in states where the supplements are legal . B.S. !

I didn't see or hear a thing whenI went out Saturday . I had a red squirrel that was bugging me . I was tempted to drop a Turkey load on that pest !

Did you try setting it up facing south , away from the sun ? Try that and test the camera .

Auctions are fun but make sure you don't scratch your nose or head or you might buy something that you hadn't planned on buying !

I was going to take my tri-pod along but left it home . I unscrewed the end of my monopod and had the camera mounted on that . I couldn't hold it steady enough to get good video . I have taken at least 15 deer off that property over the years .

I copied and pasted so I have nothing to do with the size .............. I was sitting at a stoplight yesterday, minding my own business, waiting for the light to turn green. A carload of bearded, young, loud Muslims, shouting anti-American slogans, with a half-burned American Flag duct taped on the trunk of their car, and a "Remember 9-11" slogan spray painted on the side, was stopped next to me. When the light turned green, the Muslims praised Allah, shook their fists, hit the gas, and darted off ahead of me Suddenly an 18-wheeler came speeding through the intersection and ran over their car, crushing it completely, killing everyone inside. For several minutes I sat in my car thinking to myself, "Man... that could have been me!" So today, bright and early, I went out and got a job as a truck driver.

When I finished sitting for 6 hours hoping for a Tom turkey , I stopped up to my SIL's house to help with a couple projects . She had a friend trying to remove the filter for the hydraulic fluid on her Bobcat tractor and he had a huge set of channel lock pliers and couldn't get it loose so my SIL asked me to give it a try . It was really on there hard . As I was trying to turn it my SIL told me I was turning it the wrong way . I told her lefty loosey / righty tighty and she kept yapping that I was trying to turn it the wrong way . I was laying on the ground looking up at the filter and she was standing up looking down at it . Then she told her friend that I might be right . I said might be right yer butt , I am right ! I got it loose and removed it . She had her friend convinced that it should be turned the other way ( clockwise for his view) and that's why the damned thing was on so snug ! I had told them that some guys used to punch a hole in the filter with a screwdriver and turn the filter that way . Her friend said that they were considering doing that just before I arrived . She had a difficult time admitting that she was wrong ! Kinda bored so I thought I would post this gem ............

Couldn't find my earlier post so I will try again . Went to Geneseo this am . Was setup by 5 am and sat back and relaxed . I was wet from the knees down from walking through the high grass . Didn't see one Turkey and didn't hear any . I could have walked 1/2 mile to the woods but I would have really been soaked and it's real wet there . The mosquitoes were out where I was anyway . On the upside , I saw at least 6 deer in the morning . I thought one was a buck but I might have been hallucinating . Did some video .

I went to Geneseo to hunt for the 1st time in at least 5 years . No turkey . Didn't hear or see any . Saw at least 6 deer though . Gotta check out my video camera as I think one was a buck .

I was installing a real estate sign in Webster and should have had my video camera with me . I was watching a crow bugging a hawk in flight as the hawk was gliding . Then the hawk would go after the crow . They went back and forth doing this in the air . I was hoping the hawk would snatch that crow out of mid air but it didn't happen . They finally flew their separate ways . It was neat to watch !

I have a Parker Phoenix EZ Draw and my youngest son has a Parker Force Multiplier . Parker makes excellent bows .
