  2. This is either the sight my son has or very similar . It's the Extreme Bone Collector and a light can be placed at the back end where the end of the fiber optics are .......
  3. Sorry to hear of the loss of your buddy ........
  4. Steve ---- when your neighbor shoots that Big Boy see if you can get a picture to post ! : ... :D
  5. I have never used or touched a Pendulum sight but have read and heard comments about them . Too many moving parts . I have single pin TruGlo Range Rovers on a couple of my bows . I got rid of a couple multi pin sights . I can see fine with my setups . My youngest son bought an Extreme multi pin sight that has a port toward the back end that allows a sight light to be screwed in . This concept eliminates the glare on the pins .
  6. Since you are in Pennsylvania , they probably won't .........
  7. If I see lightning , I am out of there in a New York minute ! ??? .. ??? .. ???

  9. I was talking about the one on Boughton Hill Road kust a bit east from Route 64 . It only has a 100 yard range .
  10. I took these pics the spring of 2009 at the north East corner of Routes 65 and 251 . I lost count at 57 ...........
  11. I have a NEF 50 cal Huntsman with a 1.5 X 4.5 scope .
  12. My Ben Perason TX-4 is set at about 62# and my Parker Phoenix EZ Draw is set at 70# .
  13. Didn't they do this in Rochester (Irondoquoit) at Duran-Eastman Park a few years ago? For a few years , they were using off duty police to cull the herd at a pretty substantial cost . Then they started letting certified bowhunters shoot the deer under fairly stringent rules / regulations and that worked quite well . I think they still do this .
  14. Dicks has the HSS Treestalker Harness Vest on sale this week for $60 ....
  15. I use to climb down out of a stand when it started to rain figuring that I didn't want to get soaked and the day was shot . After packing up and driving away , I noticed deer grazing in fields . I guess they figured it's raining and the dumb hunters have left so it's safe to come out . I stay out now . It's a good time to stalk during bow season as the rain kinda camoflages any sound you make .
  16. I was at my son's home in the Mendon / Honeoye Falls area yesterday . Aruond 6:30 pm I looked across the road with the binos and counted 14 deer . At least 3 of them were bucks . My youngest son and his girlfriend said they saw at least 2 dozen deer in the field less than 1/2 mile west of the house . Very few of them are coming out during mid day but show up before dark .
  17. I'm back from church and they weren't silent but I got away with it . We were singing "How great Thou Art" and I timed it at the parts "I hear the rolling thunder" . ??? At least I think I got away with it . :
  18. Looks like another good tool to have !
  19. The big test will be at 8:30 Mass tomorrow morning . I'll find out if those were silent farts or not !
  20. It sure sounds like a fun thing to do but i'd hate to be responsible for someone getting hurt and wanting to sue me . Gotta be safe .
  21. I heard of the Atom Broadheads a couple years ago . I have yet to see or hear from any archers I know about using them .
  22. I keep the pins in my backpack plus an extra set that is larger diameter . I wouldnt want to unlock the stand and not be able to use it . But then there are more pins in the legs anyway !
