  1. Finding some different gun powder for reloading is a bit difficult now . Gotta start looking local for R-19 to reload my son's 270 .
  2. Sorry for your loss , Fletch ......
  3. They come out during deer season ..........
  4. Saw this on AT https://www.gunsamerica.com/digest/brett-favre-steve-austin-compete-in-explosive-bow-shooting-contest/?utm_source=email&utm_medium=20210212_FridayDigest_317&utm_campaign=/digest/brett-favre-steve-austin-compete-in-explosive-bow-shooting-contest/
  5. Attachments help to slow things down . If you read what burmjohn posted as a notice , you will see we are at 80GB of images . Click on your name and the "my attachments" . Delete the OLD ones . Another thing that probably slows down the site is QUOTES . Someone makes a lengthy post with 4 , 5 , 10 paragraphs and then someone responds to that post by quoting adding more than is necessary .
  6. We are thinking it is shoulder impingement and the exercises will work things out . I sure hope so .
  7. Had an appointment with the physical Therapist yesterday . He checked out my shoulder . He did some ultra-sound on the shoulder , had me do some stretches and the added some ice . He have me some exercise instructions , a couple of exercise items and sent me on my way . I go back next week . The stretching exercises are a beeotch to do but hopefully they will help .
  8. I have had to go into the system and remove some of my own attachments that were a couple years old in order to do more . 99% of water rat's posts are jokes / cartoons . ATTACHMENTS
  9. I merged the two site problem threads .
  10. I think the reason there is a limit on attachments is so members will go in and get rid of a lot of the ancient ones . You probably have more than anyone . Heck , your attachments might be what is slowing down the forum .
  11. I agree . With dealing with the pandemic , no where to go , time is of the essence . Hurry hurry hurry ......... I have sent a PM and an email to burmjohn . Waiting for a reply .
  12. I will see if I can get the Boss to respond to me and let him know the problem .
  13. I use a clamp on bow holder in my ladder stands . Fastens tight and doesn't move . Keeps my bow in close reach . I could never get the Third Hand tight enough so that it wouldn't move on me . Maybe I didn't have it adjusted right . I will have to look around as I have a couple somewhere .
  14. I have never seen a scope on a bow . Don't know anyone that has .
  15. I made my Venison Chili yesterday . I am ready for the Super Bowl .
  16. I delete most of the raunchy , tasteless crap that gets posted . This is a hunting site not meant to entertain dirty jokes .
  17. Only if you "purchased" her .......
  18. Have you ever bought something and then wonder , why in hell you bought it . Several years ago , I bought a Rescue One CDS ( Controlled Descend System ) . Paid $130 for it but never used the thing so I put it in a tote for storage . It's like a small backpack that you fasten to a tree and if you fall out of the stand , you can slowly descend and not be hanging around . I don't higher than using any 15" ladder stand and thought it would be a waste to use the Rescue One at that height . What purchase mistake have any of you made ? Sorry to bore you but I am bored !
