  1. I had Nikon 10x 32 for years and they started to break (rubber cladding was breaking off) so I sent them to Nikon and they gave me a credit to use towards a new pair as they no longer make the 10x 32. I picked up the Monarch 5, 10x 40 and they are great. Not as good as some German glass but for the $$$ you can't beat Nikon. And their customer service is outstanding!
  2. Only a few days left, I hope 1 of us hits it!

  7. Thank you Brian, and you are correct sir! Cancer sucks! But we will fight it with everything we have! God Bless you!
  8. Thank you Jason! Yes, we will be playing ice hockey this year. Unless this new Delta variant screws things up? But we are all vac'ed so I'm sure we will get through this next wave of crap!
  9. I'm doing it again this year.... The 11 Day Power Play is holding a marathon hockey game this November at Buffalo Riverworks. I will be playing a 3 hour shift along with friends that I skate with on Thursday nights. "Thursday Night Cancer Crusaders" Everyone of us on this team has had or is currently fighting our own personal battle with cancer. Unfortunately, everyone of us know someone close to us that have been effected by this terrible disease. Together we can and will make a difference. Proceeds of the event will support cutting-edge cancer research and wellness programs at Roswell Park, Make-A-Wish WNY, Camp Good Days and Roswell Park and Oishei Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Program. All funds support our local community. Please use this link to make a donation, https://communityshift.11daypowerplay.com/TimMeyers Thank you so much for helping me reach my goal! I truly appreciate it.

  11. Happy Fathers Day!! I hope everyone has a great day!
  12. Great machine, I can attest that it has a new drive belt and battery as of 2 years ago. It will cut up to 1" saplings no problem!
  13. Rob, It looks like Camofire has Bemans on their site today. https://www.camofire.com/index.php/Deals/52
  14. Happy Belated Birthday Bob! Sorry I'm late for the party!
  15. We're back home now, but I had a great time. No fish caught but I will definitely go back again sometime. Thanks for the advise!
  16. Thanks for the info. Internet connection is spotty at best here so I haven't seen these posts until now. I fished with a 1/8 oz jig and twister worm/grub no luck. Tried a rooster tail no luck. We were camping at Moffitt Beach on Sacandaga Lake.
  17. Hey, I'm at Sacandaga Lake with my kayak and would like to do a little fishing. Any suggestions as to what is biting(besides the black flies) and what bait/lures should I be using? Thanks for any advise. Ps. Keep it simply as I'm a novice when it comes to fishing! Lol
  18. Happy Belated Birthday Sir! I see that you enjoyed your special day.
  19. I'm in Little Valley for a last hunt here, not s gobble so far. Beautiful morning to be out! Good luck TF and Sammie.
  20. I just checked some of the Oaks I planted and all are leafing out great. Thanks again Bob! @farmer 52
  21. Well the blind is done, just need to take it apart, load it on trailer, haul it back up the hill, then put it back up. And anchor it of course! I'm not real happy with my paint job, I think I got a little carried away with the leaves. Looks too busy, we'll see how it looks in the field.
  22. I hunted a new spot in Elma today, I heard more gobbling at first light than I've heard all season. Unfortunately too far away and on another property. So I got close as I could and did some calling hoping they would eventually make it my way. I'm sure I didn't give it enough time but I have things to do so I called it at 9 am. And TF , I'm not a live from the woods guy until I shoot one. That's why my posts are always days behind! Sorry
  23. Ok, so I haven't been fishing in years. And recently started kayaking and would love to try a little fishing while out in the kayak. Well I pulled out my old(and they are really old!) fishing poles and I assume I should start by replacing the line on the reels as it's probably at least 20 years old! My question is what to I put on them? I'm so out of touch with this stuff, I don't have any idea what to use. Weight/lb. test? etc. I assume I will be just fishing for bass soI shouldn't need anything too heavy? Like I said I don't have a clue! Any help/suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
