Crazy, i assume you already knew there was nothing in the water to impede your fall. Not good if there was rocks or a rock shelf under the water. That would be my fear

Thats exactly the reaction i get from people inside and outside the office, from meeting parents at kids baseball games to people in my office to everyday life. They are all intrigued and engaging when it comes to deer hunting and eating venison. Knock on wood, not once have i met an anti, atleast not any that have acknowledged they were anti-hunting.

Yeah i may try that, adding a grain with brassica. Everytime i tried Brassica with clover mix, the Brassicas got hammered.

Thats quite the bachlor group, love that drop tine!!!

About 1/2 to 3/4 acre.

And thats not even including the soft and hard mass when they are producing.

Tons, miles of corn fields not too far off on other farms , hay fields galore and several white ladino clover plots on my property. All within a couple mile radius.

Enjoy your day!!

The issue i have is that my brassica plots get hammered down to dirt and never getting a fighting chance to reach maturity. And these are nice size plots. Some say deer will not touch brassicas till first frost, not my case. They get eaten as soon as they grow. These pie plates would be a nicer (cheaper), less labor intensive to an electric fence. May have to try that come next late spring.

I think most are underestimating the greed of politicians. Although some politicians may put a good front to try and stop hunting, while under the table they are working deals to ensure it survival. Why would they rid a sport that lines alot of their pockets finacially. Its a multi million dollar industry. In addition, i find most every non hunter i talk to is either intrigued or very curious about hunting. I work in Manhattan and most every non hunter thats asks about hunting is all for it, to a point where everytime i make a batch of venison jerky or dry sausage i have to bring some into the office for them to try. Mind you this is in the Times square area of NYC and i have yet to meet an anti. I have spoken to many non hunters that were misinformed or clueless about hunting but were also more than eagar to listen to what i had to say. Thats coming from city folk that have no hunting what so ever in their background. There was one woman that was so intrigued about shooting, that she went to range to try her hands on different guns and countless others ask for packages of venison. Dont beleive everything you hear, hunting is strong and very much alive. People are going back to nature to experience the simpler things in life.

Can we get a picture on how you set that up around the perimeter of the plot? May come in use for my future Brassica plots.

Is there a reason to be at 45lbs, bad shoulder?
-
That is sweet, maybe one day when the kids leave the roost. For now need room for the 4 kiddies, went with a 2017 chevy Traverse.

Step up? Sorry but not worth the effort. I pick and choose what i want to comment on. Its you that blatantly derail topicd and are malicious towards others. You just proved my point, view away so that you can find a reason to get your last stab. Have fun!! Dont you have other posts to veiw so that you can seek your revenge, get a life!!! Done, dont expect a comment. I'll let you have the last stab. Enjoy!!!!

Grow up man, its almost like you are viewing her posts just to find something that you can try and get a rise out of her and in the process derail the topic at hand. The OP was about a swamp right? I usually dont go back at people, but some people just get ridicoulous in trying to get their last stab in there. Its getting old bud.

Right by the fence, real nice buck.

Congrats, sounds like it was a great game.

Walmart

Its definitely a possibility, just hard to prove they are both the same deer based upon those photos.
-
Unless you have a physical body characteristic that is unique to a buck, it would be hard to prove those 2 deer are the same a year later just because both lack one brow tine.

1 elevated box blind, 1 elevated tripod, 2 home made wood stands and 4 ladder stands, all on 41 acres. I have alot of contour to my property so 8 stands doesnt seem like much.

Sorry for your loss, my prayers are with you and your family. You raised your daughter right.
