They are killing my apple trees! But, my trees are between two main food sources so I think they use it for snacking while on their way to and from the other food sources. It's weird how apple trees can be loaded and the one next to it has nothing. We were fortunate that the 10 apple trees we have all did well. Our pear trees are doing awesome as well, but since I put a new sheep pasture out where those trees are the deer haven't touched them.

I purposely shoot on days where the gusts and wind are over 25mph. For me, I've seen very little change in arrow flight out to 70 yards. I do this mainly to see how my arrow flight is at those ranges. I was surprised to see such little arrow movement. Chiefbkt

No joke. I'd take that shot on a deer. I shot a doe at 56 yards last year and never thought twice about it. I have a speed bow and shoot thousands of arrows a year at long range. If I didn't shoot as much as I do I wouldn't even consider it.Chiefbkt

Don't we all shake the branches when we're by the tree...haha. Wooly, that apple tree is 45 yards from my stand. He can hang up there as long as he wants, or until I launch an arrow. Time is military but based on noon as start point instead of midnight, just don't care enough to change it. Chiefbkt

The deer and wildlife have been hammering the apple tree next to my food plot. It's Been my most active location for the last month. Glad to see the buck I'm after has made some more daytime visits. Hope he continues this while I'm in my stand! http://i952.photobucket.com/albums/ae8/Chiefbkt/Mobile%20Uploads/BFE74502-309A-40BA-8FC6-785D0EE54B14_zpsr1micrwq.jpghttp://i952.photobucket.com/albums/ae8/Chiefbkt/Mobile%20Uploads/FF357CE2-E463-40A3-9213-F3D774DB9386_zpsztakluw4.jpghttp://i952.photobucket.com/albums/ae8/Chiefbkt/Mobile%20Uploads/6719EC39-2988-45F9-AE93-A036EB0030B9_zpsyqz8rpke.jpghttp://i952.photobucket.com/albums/ae8/Chiefbkt/Mobile%20Uploads/0670A65A-D3B4-49A8-AFC8-0D0C2EAE9CD4_zpscxcmxv3s.jpghttp://i952.photobucket.com/albums/ae8/Chiefbkt/Mobile%20Uploads/3E95BB0A-EDFA-4F66-BCE5-3DB8DCC491AB_zpsnixn73rv.jpghttp://i952.photobucket.com/albums/ae8/Chiefbkt/Mobile%20Uploads/83349E73-97CC-4537-BB47-259F60CF9A0E_zps4zj04022.jpghttp://i952.photobucket.com/albums/ae8/Chiefbkt/Mobile%20Uploads/6B591602-A391-4786-B649-5857D5E7A5E3_zpsyoluquir.jpghttp://i952.photobucket.com/albums/ae8/Chiefbkt/Mobile%20Uploads/D35AE6A9-0720-46F9-9CDA-1B420DA27157_zps2sqcwknw.jpghttp://i952.photobucket.com/albums/ae8/Chiefbkt/Mobile%20Uploads/0F799388-1AC8-441C-A2CE-96122D9E4C23_zpsrzx1jmmn.jpghttp://i952.photobucket.com/albums/ae8/Chiefbkt/Mobile%20Uploads/D0CE031C-14CB-4B83-9DDD-C285F4DFB114_zpslsoi4oc7.jpg Chiefbkt

Was gonna offer my 2015 Evolution up for you to test out, but I see now you bought a knightmare. You couldn't have gone wrong with either the Elite or Obsession. Six of one, half dozen of the other. Both great bows that shoot amazing. Like you, I liked the obsession a little more. It's a legit tack driver. Chiefbkt

Face paint as long as the weather is above freezing. Switched to it last year and like the feeling of nothing interfering with eyes, ears, mouth. Chiefbkt

Can I get a $425 or BO... Chiefbkt -
Who wants to be the new owner of this gun? Chiefbkt

If you know you have a dominant buck in your area, and you can set up close to his bedding area, you may have luck. I personally don't rattle much but have had luck on the edges of a bucks bedding area during the end regular archery season. Chiefbkt

I have blown through shoulder blades with traditional 2-blade Rages, but I shoot 70 lbs draw and fairly heavy arrow. Wish I would have taken pictures. I think if I ever went back to fixed blades I'd give the G5's a shot, seem to be pretty effective. Chiefbkt

Where are you located? Chiefbkt

Nice buck, good luck! It's just the transition from summer to winter coat. It's how it looks with IR and black flash. Chiefbkt

He's a good one, I hope you get him so we can see what he weighs. He's got a huge body! Chiefbkt

$425 or BO...someone needs a new gun Chiefbkt

He finally made it out of velvet, but he's back to a nightly routine instead of day. Good news is, he's appeared to push out all of the other bucks from this area (~10 acre piece) and has about 7 does to himself. I have cameras surrounding his bedding area and there are no other bucks to be seen. Chiefbkt

Nnice work! Just as an FYI for those who are looking into getting into smoking, when I went to my TSC in Auburn the other day they had smokers on clearance for $75 marked down from $150. There were 4-5 left. Seemed like a pretty good deal.

Come on man, don't let the wrath of the mrs be a deterrent for a new bow...just have it shipped to your place of work! Seriously though, I'm sure it's a nice bow. If I see one I'm gonna shoot it! Chiefbkt

So is Kevin Strother out there helping with their designs? I first saw it and thought maybe obsession was pulling the old bowtech/diamond, Mathews/mission, Hoyt/reflex marketing idea. But after further inspection realized it wasn't. Chiefbkt

Brand new in box Savage 220 20 gauge. Bolt action, accu trigger, synthetic stock, shoots 3" shells. One of the best slug guns you can buy. Asking $450 or BO. Can do swap at my FFL for cheap.

Has anyone ever heard of or shot one of their bows? I was on AT and saw one for sale and checked it out, then went to their page and read up on them a little bit. They're based in South Dakota which may be why I've never heard of them, as I'm sure they don't make it this far east too often. It seems like they have a lot of engineering behind it and machine it with fairly tight tolerances. Looks like a pretty nice bow with a similar platform as the Obsession line. I've never seen one in person, but wouldn't mind getting my hands on one to give it a whirl. If anyone has any experience with them I'd like to hear it. Here's the link to their website: http://xpeditionarchery.com
