My one friend that hunts with a crossbow just ground a field tip flat and it only goes in the ground about 6"

A muzzleloader is considered unloaded when the cap is off the nipple, the primer is removed, the primer powder is removed from the flintlock pan, or the battery is removed from an electric-fired muzzleloader. A crossbow is considered unloaded when the arrow/bolt is removed and the crossbow is uncocked

Actually was told otherwise by a ECO and two instructors. If I recall I think it may have even said in the Q&A in the regulations guide

We do pies in them. Soft white bread, buttered and choice of pie filling. when we don't have a camp fire I do them right on the propane stove top...lol

I am at camp Friday and all next week. over the season there are a few staples that always are requested. Venison chili, stew. fajitas and stroganoff. Of course for some breakfasts there is venison summer sausage, egg and cheese on a English muffin or grilled hard roll.

Oh Steve, based on this thread alone I am certain there are some that have banged their heads on hard surfaces for far longer than 2 seconds.

I am just wondering if the "official" stance hasn't changed because of the tendency to push it further. Is there a written law and then a "wink, wink" understanding that it won't be enforced? like speeding. I haven't heard of a ticket issued for it unless it was in conjunction with another violation. I am sure there must be but I haven't heard of it.
