I was actually surprised the take in SZ wasn't higher this year since they combined the openers for gun

They are in Tully area. I have had two different bears cross 81 in front of me in that area on my way down to camp. Usually it is the younger displaced males that you see venturing into a new area that the we see ont he fringe of their normal range.

G-Man- inspection by DEC is only a requirement in the SZ. Up North it only needs to be reported and they send you a kit to send them a tooth.

I hlready had a 1/2 body mount of my first and my Father got one and we had a rug done for camp so on this one I gave the skin to a taxidermist and he is cleaning the skull for me. The mount was about 750 and the rug was pushing 1,000. it will probably run you about 150-175 a foot for a really nice rug with ad ons for things like an open mouth. Nice thing about a rug is you can about guarantee you can get most if not all of your money out of it. THere is a market for rugs and I know 2 taxidermists that don't even require deposits for them becasue they know they can get their money out of them by selling them.

IN the Rochester Area the open area is generally south of the Thruway. Just check the map and see where it is open. I would take it. I took one up north last year and I love the meat. It is actually my daughters favorite. The only bear I have tried that I didn't like was a "dump" bear. They are a poster child for "you are what you eat" . The one I took last year had been living in about 400 acres of corn.

At camp one of our favorites is Limbuger cheese with onion and hot mustard on rye bread (no seeds). For the stand it is bologna, extra sharp cheddar and hot mustard.

I think the dish providers have contract periods. (from what I have seen in their recent ads)

I have had enough of the high bills for our Cable TV. We have TIme Warner for TV and Internet. I know some of the Dish companies offer a high speed internet through them. I am looking for feedback from anyone that have the internet through their dish.

What is their reasoning for not allowing VS starting another class? I have shot in leagues where even the compounds had two classes. one with fingers and one with releases. I have seen firearms competitions too that had classifications for optics and no optics.

Can you mix bees from different swarms? -
Climbing sticks for hangon stand??
Culvercreek hunt club replied to Jrs5144's topic in General Hunting
If you opt for screw in steps go for the one peice ones. the folding ones are much nicer to carry but as I found out the hard way the rivits at the hinge points can fail. I had one come apart just as I was steping onto the platform. I like the climbing stick option and the ones I really like are the ones that don't come straight out of the vertical post. Some of them slpoe up from the post and they are much nicer to climb with wet boots on. Another option if you don't hunt very high is a home made wooden ladder.. THey are heavy but if you are leaving them in place they work pretty well. They do require inspection from time to time to make sure they are still sturdy. -

I have seen swams that were collected and over the next 2 or 3 days more bees still congregate at the same location. Their sensativity to that scent must be amazing. -
the 'E' is silent in 'douche' also.

I thought their 5 year plan arleady outlined their desire to have it included?
-
I am betting the wooden platform that was under the chair is since, long gone.

Ants, Is this a new installation or a dorr that had workrd in the past and now doesn't?

Takes a little practice but the best way to utilize a scope is to look at your target and shoulder the gun and bring the scope into your line of sight. The target will be there. Shouldering the gun and looking for the target through the scope doesn't work as well becasue of the reduced field of view. I don't have a problem this way even on moving targets.

It is pretty straight forward if it works manually. One screw is the upper limit and the other is the lower limit setting.
