  1. I thought the OP was looking for a liability form but it appears he wanted a permission slip?
  2. He won't have to take the bacon. we are going to have a shortage this year. Too amny bacon donut sandwiches and milkshakes...lol.
  3. Actually i already listed the primary means of transmission. And you know there are thousands of street walkers selling their wares too. Doesnt make it right. You and your business are whores of the sport.that is a fact. Spin it any way you want.
  4. First off you tool, let's try some reading comprehension. I said early stage of CWD not early signs. The early stage is an infected animal with no visible signs. One that can spread the disease and it isnt even known.so i suggest you pull yoir head out of that dark unsanitary place and learn to read. Your business has deformed the whitetail and turned it into a freak show all in the name of chasing the dollar. GEnetic manipulation In suppot of the high fenced canned hunt industry. So please keep trying to convince us how bright and knowledgeable you are. You have been falling short so you may want to brush up. Deer farms/fenced hunts have much in common with any street walkers you may lnow. No morals, all for a buck and even you can bag one
  5. Love farmers but that is the biggest reason I HATE nusance permits. They remove a benefit to have us there.
  6. Joe, they resorted to AR becasue they could not legislate restraint...lol.
  7. Boy does the Mrs. have you brainwashed or what!!! LOL
  8. FSW --seems like you are overreacting. you asked if anyone thought about CWD when dumping carcasses his respons was -no becasue he doesn't shoot farm deer. which is truthful if he doesn't and in all honesty based on the history of CWD in NY, captive deer are attributed as being the typhoid Mary of it. Then you lost you cool. I can see you being sensative since you are involved in an industry that released a potential plague into the NY whitetail to make a few bucks.(pun intended) Let's look at it logically. the dumping of a carcass that may have not shown signs of CWD in the early stage wouls have contaminated spinal and ceribral fluid. The animals that are drawntot he carcass would not be cervids and I have seen no research that indicated any other group could contract it. (ie coyotes). If that deer was infected it is far more likely that the urine and feces (and even saliva) that it dropped would come in contact with the other deer in the area. And since there have been no other cases(they even closed the quarantine area) I don't see the concern.
  9. Might not be that bad of a tactic if you hunt it during the full moon with nightime activity up. if this is the bed room and you can get in early before they come back in early morning you may make out ok. It is less than ideal entry but if you are walking in without bumping them where they are feeding you might pull it off. I HATE hunting full moon times but this might work
  10. If I recall correctly in NY the landowner can not he held liable for injuries if they allow you to hunt, unless they know of a hazard and don't disclose it or if they charge you a fee to use the property (like a lease) This is good reading and speaks to both cases. http://www2.dnr.cornell.edu/ext/info/pubs/LegalFinancial/liability_boundary_posting.htm
  11. John, I am guessing but can only think of one reaosn that guy would waste the energy to take the corn away to eat it. ...You have a bigger one in there eating too. Little guy doesn't want his a$$ whooped. Good luck putting a tag on one of them.
  12. Me too. Have a great season. If you are really interesed in QDMA we have a new chapter starting up that is western Ny and souther tier. Check out a link in the QMA section of the forum.
  13. I have kids I know that are too old and too young. I am taking my daughter boyfriend deer hunting for the first ime this year. I had him out small game hunting last year and have been shooting with him. He is pumped for deer hunting but since he is 17 for his first year the youth hunt is off limits. Have been thinking about starting a rental agency where you can rent a 14-15 yo to get out in the woods earlier and take the buck you watched all summer before the other guys get it. How many kids do you think I could rent out for the wekend?...lol
  14. Butter knives are number two on the list of "legal things". Number one is Morning after pills. ...ooops did I say that out loud?
  15. No need for all that fancy stuff. cheap bag of good ole' fashioned rock salt....so I hear any ways..lol. thruth be told before the off season feeding became illegal I had one Uncle that used to place it on a stump and they ate the stump.
  16. Bummer I thought for a minute we would get teh list of "Things legal in NYC" up to 4...lol
  17. But here is a 50 cal semi that would be great to own...if you have the coin to buy and feed it..lol http://www.hinterlandoutfitters.com/barrett-model-82a1-rifle-system-package-13124-semi-auto-barrel-black-finish-leupold-mark-14x50-scope-zero-ultra-high-rings-bors-monopod-p-41225.html
  18. Well let's agree that automatic weapons are not in this conversation since they fall under a whole different set of regulations. (although some would argue that the 2nd does cover those)
  19. Usually I see them moving from where they are to where they want to be...lol I don't think thee is any tie to compass diretion. In my mind at this time of year it is about current PREFERED food source and bedding location. Identify what they are hitting or better yet will be hitting for food and get between their pillow and their kitchen. Rut---all bets off..lol
  20. Oh come on Virg, we know you have a few for the list...lol
  21. Welcome to the site and to hunting. I wish you al the best and good luck. Thanks for your service and my advice tid bit for in your pack is----compass, just like Americna Express, never leave home without it.
  22. Not to Hijack the thread but just what rifles fall into that group? Which ones should we have the restrictions on?
  23. You were the one that said if you can't tell then you are unsafe 9I am paraphrasing, but it is supported by your posts) Why not take a fresh start and tell us what you do mean. Everyone gets tangled up and crisscrossed in these threads. I get that you support AR's, There are also hunters that don't. It speaks to priorities in my book and that is neither good or bad, just different priorities. Those that favor of AR are no better hunters than the ones that don't, they are no safer hunters, no better stewarts of conservation and visa versa. It is about letting others enjoy the sport and defining their own success not defining it for them. (within legal limits).
