  1. If they put up a brass pole they woul dhave a trifecta
  2. Alot of the shoooting clubs have bars. I don't see this as any different. Rochester Brooks has a great bar. They take the same approach about once you are served....At least they said that in the orientation
  3. I don't understand it either, But if you are waiting for me to be surprised that somethin NY was involed in does'nt make sense....don't wait...lol. They could screwup a free lunch. Maybe they want us bow hunters to be able to identify THEM in the woods, and like Doe said...run the other way.
  4. grocery stores can sell 55 gallon bottles. it is just restaurants and fast food/deli type places.
  5. I thought the BO was mandated for the junio hunters in teh regular season. I seem to recal that from last year.
  6. Not baiting or BSing....how do we tie it to people that do not pay for health insurance? I have not info or facts to back this up, just personal observations and maybe jaded opinion...but.... I woul dbet there is a higher percentage of lower income or poverty level people that are obese or overweight. SO if we start taxing them in one pocket won't popular opinion be asking to put more public money in the other pocket anyway? Tough circle to break.
  7. I think you better go back and reread that article. I think it said he was going after salty seaman
  8. BINGO!!! and why not pass legislation making it illegal to sell food in a restaurant or fast food/deli that is over a serving size.
  9. I will say that when we hunt up north inthe early season , when one of us shoot a deer the hunting for us is done and we head home to process the deer. late SZ hunting we have gutted and left in the field all day and brought all of them out at the end. I have never had a problem taking care of a deer in warm temps so far but the bugs that are around during it do bother me. I freak a bit with flys on food.
  10. believe it or not...marshmallows work on skunks and woodchucks too.
  11. we need some type of computerized blood monitor to add up all of our caloric intake subtract our calories burned in a day and charge us based on the unused calories. ...boy that has a 1984 tone to it...lol
  12. Those 14-15 year old Junior Hunters can still hunt regular season like they could from the last change...right? couldn't find that.
  13. It is a great funnel. I know right where it is. That Trruway is a great boarder and barrier but don't bother wearing you walker game ears...lol.
  14. I don't think thee will be many , if any, 14 and 15 year old kids out with rifles and shotguns hunting deer without the mentors.Even if there are a few, we shouldn't set up our regulations for the what if's of a few.
  15. I really don't get the logic. how does increasing the number of what you are hunting increase the challenge? Is it more of a challenge to fish for one legal fish in a 100 acre pond or 10,000 leagal fish in a 100 acre pond. If success and fulfillment is to be measured by the challenge wouldn't a mature buck being taken in a non AR area be more fulfilling?
  16. Anything else just seems like an excuse for someone that doens't like hunting as much as killing. You would possibly see more than once in blue moon bucks that you knew were legal if you didn't shoot the first thing that you saw" Toss in "the brown it's down " comment and I have no idea how anyone could draw a conclusion that he is full of himself. No idea at all. He seems to have aeveryone else pegged in how they hunt....I also think he is pegged pretty well too.
  17. Steve, he probably needs the AR's becasue he can't live up to the bar he has set for himself. He has defined success on the pursuit of antlers and probably can't deliver. SO he needs AR to fan the ego and make it easier to achieve the goal.He wan's them behind every tree, It has to be the case other wise he would want it as hard as possible to take a mature big horned buck and really prove his worth. What he doesn't get is while havinghte desire to take a mature animal is great, many scale success of a season my much different standards than horn size.
  18. Since Bow is open I am betting the processors will be open. Always good to call and check though. Some of those guys go in and out of business from year to year.
  19. You got off easy...lol. I killed it I cleaned it, Dad killed it I cleaned it. Uncle killed it, I cleaned it
