In case geography wasn't taught in the school you attended.....there is a lot more state than LI. And I don't care how you want to doctor the testing as a teacher or keep making claims of all this multitude of standardized testing. The kids today suck in comparison to what used to be the standard. I have a 17yo daughter...a Junior that is sitting in all Senior level and AP courses with a 98 average and my head explodes when I see what they are teaching and what they really know. I am making a general observation from my experiences as a student and a parent.... it doesn't apply to evryone.....Teachers aren't what they used to be...they fall short....and neither are the kids. (asian kids aside...they seem to be driven and that is coming from the homes)

I think I am going to try it in the drill press like o have seen on some forums....should work really fast

NFA---lookk at some of the long range target set ups. They are typically not high poundage and high speed....why...because they are easier to hold and more consistent to shoot. Many of the high poundage target bows are barely breaking the 300fps mark. They are not concerned with penetration so heavy arrows at fast speed means nothing. accuracy is in the consistency and that is easier to achieve at lower poundage

Early--- That wa funny right there.....the coffee you made me spit out wasn' though...

Well I think you are all wet. My site at 60 is 60....if I reduce speed and resight ...60 is 60

I heard that about them. That is why I went with the lee press and the dies. The pin stuck in the primer hole?

you analogy for the plumber is perfect. The ones that were charging even more than that could go out of business if they are charging a competitive rate. We do not have that luxury with public servants. It should be skills and results based compansation ...just like the private market is. Why is it so much more cost efffective to privatise many of the government functions? Because the govt is bloated and over paying. There should be school vouchers....the prisons will be run by private companies in the next 20 years. (already happening in many states). The best employees should be getting the best money...not the ones with the most years in.

I just heard about this one. Anyone have any experience?. SigP250 2sum. Get two gins basically. Fire mechanism carries the numbers. So interchange between full size and compact or subcompact. Supposedly you can by parts and interchange calibers too.

North-American Hunting Club

That was the same crap the NRA tried with me years back. I couldn't get them to stop so I dropped the membership....I got it back a few years ago and they haven't done it ot me since. -
This is a huge problem but I cn't see it changing unless we can find a way to get the Liberal Govt of NY out of power. they are too beholding to the tree hugging interests. Not to throw sticks at aour down state brothers and sisters but downstate holds the power because of their numbers. The huggers down there want to be able t come up and see the vast unspoiled wilderness of Upstate and then crawl back to their concrete jungle. They make the rules and we have to love with them. NFA-ADK---we have to get all the NY state groups together and lobby and vote in one direction for a common goal. I wish we could.

Rainier Lead safe bullets
Culvercreek hunt club replied to Culvercreek hunt club's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
bulk =1,000 round boxes? Midway seems to be the best pricing I have found. -
Anyone ever use the Ranier lead safe bullets? . They are lead bullets that are copper plated. They are recommended t be loaded as lead bullets would be. They are NOT jacketed bullets. I have been looking for very affordable 357/38 and this might just fit the bill if thye aren't total junk. depending on grain and shape between 100 and 120 / 1,000....Anyone?

Hey all, Need some help. Has anyone heard of a deer that was killed this past fall during gun season in Rush NY. My neighbrs daughter hit it with a car and the police had to come to finish it off. She really loves animals and it shook her up. So needless to say she didn't have any of th eanswers to the qustions I was asking her abot it...lol. I believe it is one I was watching on the cameras. she left and the police had yet to finish it. By the time my other friend got there the police and the deer was gone. I would love to see what it really looked like. 14 pointer with drop tines...big drop tines. Happened by the reservoir.

Ranging in size from 18 acres to 512 acres.
