Don't see many at all in 8P. Although this year I did get one picture with about 20 on it. Very young birds.

Rest of the week went well. Saw a few mature doe by themselves and a small 4 pt. Not many scrapes yet and a few rubs. My guy had the meat processed Thursday so I was able to bring it home. Back up the Thursday before gun! Good luck gang. Oh funny story my Brother inlaw was hunting the other day and left his evercalm at the base of the tree. A fisher came along and took it! Grabbed it and ran off!

Nice buck!!!!! I'm at camp and can't let this morning slip on by. No wind snowing just got to bve out there. DMP and Bear legal for me!

Well that was easy......lol DMPs are valid during all deer hunting seasons. Junior Bowhunters may use DMPs during the special archery seasons and during the regular season. Hunters may transfer or receive up to 2 DMPs from other hunters (see Consignment of Deer Management Permits for instructions).

I got my buck two days ago. Im at camp and woke up to this beautiful morning with light snow . Going out with bow but want to know if I can tag a doe. I'll look on DEC website but asking here first

Got it done today. I'm in 8P and it seems the bucks are seeking now. Went to one of my stands near a bedding area. Put out some golden estrous scent.. It was about 5:00 and this guy came right in. 5 yard shot right under my stand. Walked off after the shot. Saw a tuff in his hair in shoulder. Thought I missed! lol but he wobbled at 30 yards and fell over. Double lung shot. Nice 2.5 year old 7 pt. I feel blessed!

Saw a nice bid doe this afternoon all alone. Going to happen soon.

Hunted Saturday afternoon, Saw three small bucks and 4 doe. A 1 horn spike was chasing two yearlings. Nice to be back in the woods.

No this is section 11. We were wining with 8 minutes to go and they tied it up 1-1. Went into double OT and we lost 2-1. Girls left nothing on the field so proud of them! It's 4:15 leaving in an hour for camp. Will report back!

Game time 6PM! I have the rest of my life to hunt. I hope the underdogs come through with a win. #10 us playing #2!

I have the same type of land and get so many pictures of bear in the little field. They look nice!!

I'm pretty sure its a City water department area. It's fenced in with deer. He said this ten point was moving all the doe around pissing as he was chasing doe. Pushed other bucks away also. They are getting it on for sure! Here is a nice one that came close to him.

I think the snort wheeze is when a buck is telling another buck get ready for a fight if you don't leave. One of those calls you use as last resort if you can't get a bucks attention. That is a big bucks attention.

It's getting better! My senior Teddi who captains the soccer team won the 1st round of playoffs. Next game is Thursday night. If they win, Saturday afternoon semi finals then finals on Tuesday! Well I can tell you I will be at the cabin next Wednesday! lol All good wouldn't miss it for the world. My warrior on the field!

and what about getting into and out of your stand while drinking. Not good. I always look forward to a cold beer on my back porch after the afternoon hunt. I had a guy in camp that liked his whiskey in a flask out in the woods. He got the message. I guess drinking meant more to him than hunting......gone!
