  1. My King quad 400 has the original battery in it. 10 years old lol. Like you it has low mileage. I'm lucky!
  2. Rob, If any family and friends are out and about and go into smaller stores have them check for tests. My brother was out a week ago and went into a 7-11 and they had a whole bunch. Feel better.
  3. Would probably match the other side. Yes it's silly but his deer. If it broke while on its death run I would have it fixed. I think he is leaving it as is.
  4. Watched the video. I can see this could be a problem. I've seen decline in Turkey population where I have my camp in 8P. I honestly feel it's a combination of factors that led to this. Causes a perfect storm. Thanks for sharing.
  5. I have a few of these trees her on Long Island. I gathered a whole bunch of the walnuts and sat down one afternoon to cut them open and get the walnut to plant. I was wearing gloves but the black brown area of the nut got through and stained my hands for weeks. In fact my finger nails still have stains. I would wear laytex gloves next time. lol
  6. Tested again today. I'm still positive my brother negative. I just don't know how he is not getting covid. I feel pretty good today and did a lot around the house. I really hope by Monday i'm negative.
  7. When you say treated corn is it treated before planted and thats the problem? I hear my brother in law say some corn "round up ready" are we poisoning them?
  8. Broken off. He said he was going to have it fixed. We all gave him a world of shit for that. You get it the way it came. My brother poked at him saying why not add drop tines. All in good fun. Hell of a nice guy and super at camp. So happy for him.
  9. Buddy who hunts at my camp shot this yesterday at Sarnoff preserve Long Island. Walked in at 4 shot it 4:30. Third deer this year. Decent buck. Loves venison!
  10. Just checked in with the guys who run them with dogs by my property. They are starting this weekend. Cool picture!
  11. You all need to watch the last Episode of "Ancient Aliens" S14 E9 "The Alien Infection" it will blow your mind. https://www.history.com/shows/ancient-aliens/season-14/episode-9 As for my case I caught this Monday morning after seeing a strange glow in my backyard, weird right! lol Really watch this episode it's pretty amazing. Feel the same as yesterday so far but it will be fun watching my brother shovel the snow!
  12. Hey thanks. Sore throat is gone, still have slight headache and congestion. If I think back when this all started it was Monday morning. Tested positive Wednesday morning so today is day 4. Hopefully it's all going in the right direction!
  13. Got ya. Yeah I'm done for a bit I'll heed your advice!
  14. Same here amazing. Brother just took test he is negative.
  15. Tested positive today after two days of sore throat and congestion. I have two shots and the booster. Feeling a bit tired hope it's mild. I did work out this morning but I knew something was up. I'll be watching deer hunting videos for a while! Just have to be careful of my brother who lives with me. He is unvaccinated.
  16. Beautiful buck! County land or private?
  17. I received a survey from the DEC on lead shot, bullets. Asked me all kinds of question. There was a section that dealt with gutting a deer and where the gut pile ends up. It actually asked if I would be willing to bury the gut pile so other animals couldn't eat it. The concern was lead fragments.
  18. Sorry I don't. That was a swing set that my Brother in law gave me. I'll check with him but it's pretty old.
  19. Some of the best Venison we have both had. This roast was so tasty and tender. It was a real treat. The smokey flavor was there but not over powering.
  20. My neighbor to my north is huge on QDM. Preaches it all the time. I get it and do my part. They start driving deer at 9-9:30 opening morning. No wonder we fill the deer pole so early on opening day! lol
  21. As a youngster I got caught up in deer drives. It was great at the time but as I became older I thought it was a bit unsafe and rather just sit them out. Now I like to do a 1 man drive toward someone sitting that hasn't had any luck. Deer drives are just another way to put one down. Not my thing now but "it is what it is"
  22. I took a Venison roast out yesterday. Used my new seasonings and now slow cooking in the oven. I'll let you know how it comes out. That's beacon on the top.
  23. Has to be my Quad. Bought it 10 years ago Suzuki 400 and has helped me with food plots and hauling out deer. Thing is like brand new also. I take good care of it.
