you are right it was just a little scarcasm on my part. However the only exemption would be for his DEPARTMENT issued "Duty" AR15 any personal rifles not used for law enforcement purposes would have to be registered. AR's that is

then ask the cop if he registered his AR. A few cops I know have told me they are not really going to enforce that law. This is still the grey area that nobody knows. Will the state police give registration cards upon registering them or not? who knows. Most of my friends are not getting rid of their large mags either..... nobody likes this and most wont follow some wont enforce... My advice, wait and dont worry about it uintil the time comes. They dont have the program up and running yet to register "assault rifles" nor the program to do background checks on ammo.

I know the saying the only good coyote is a dead one. However once you kill it what do you do with the remains... Do you eat it, skin and tan the fur..... I havnt went for yote before but very interested in doing so. I just dont like to kill something without using it for some purpose.

News 4 NEw York aired a small segment on the shooting this morning. The COroner report stated that there were no .223 or 5.56 rounds recovered from any of the bodies. they also aired the origianl video showing the state police taking the ar15 out of the trunk of the vehicle outside of the school and then confirmed the ar15 was not used. Cnn also had a small segment about this as well. Gov A**H*** Cuomo released a sstatement apoligising to NY for acting to quickly on the AR15 gun ban and because the ar15 was not used in the shooting he will propose some amendments on the new ban... Just an FYI I found a few small articles about this but couldnt find any reputable sites. I just purchased a remington 700 ADL in .270 It came with a scope but I want to upgrade. I like the DOA 250 - 600yard reticle. Any suggestions on type? looking to shoot up to 300 yards max

I did just read the article you posted earlier. . let me reword what I said to clarify, I do believe this school shooting did in fact happen, I dont believe that people are making this horrible thing up, my point is I dont believe that the AR 15 was the sole weapon used. Unfortunetly I did not record the live coverage while the state police were searching the car, but I did in fact watch the police take the ar15 out of the trunk of the shooters vehicle. on the TV. I also I am not saying the goverment set this up and is a hoax. I just do not believe the AR15 was not used to shoot these poor children based on what I seen. Maybe the ar15 pulled from the vehicle was a second rifle that was not used and the one used was inside.... ...... who knows I wasnt there. Please dont take what I am saying as an insult to you or any of the respondeds and what they have actually witnessed. This is just my opinion. besidres it doesnt make any difference anymore this event did happen and lives were lost and the Ban on AR15's did happen......

I ve been saying this since the shooting happened and no one believed me. I was watching the news live on the tv and I watched the CT state police search the suspects car and take out the AR15 from the trunk of the car!!! I also watched the police run into the woods on the side of the school and had another man at gun point. then dragged him out in handcuffs and put him in the squad car. The shooter used handguns and this is was def something used to push a political agenda

sooooo How does the ammo mag capacity section work with a concealed carry. I have 10 round mags in my CCW. does that mean I have to go find a seven round mag...,.which doesnt exist?

I am looking at a remington 700 ADL at gander mountain it is a .270 and has a 22 1/2 inch barrel. I am looking to use it for target and deer from 200 to 400 yards. is that barrel length good or is 24 inch better. I want this to be a nice tack driver. opinions? comes with a Nikon pro staff scope for $479.99

i worked all types of dead end jobs looking foi the "ONE" finally I was hired as maintanence/building and grounds at a local public school districtgot a good salary position with tons of benefits including tenure 401k and NYS pension.

some companies make .22 cal's that look like an Ar-15 should those be banned or put into the same catagorie as a 223 just based on looks and the fact that they are semi automatic as well??
