Great pics, some of them almost look fake. -
I'm more of a fair weather hunter. Never had much luck in the rain. Light sprinkle yes snow of course but rain I'd rather be dry and inside!

Yeah that gun in the pic was my muzzleloader (during northern tier muzzleloading season)

I was always told to use barbasol shaving cream. Just spray it on and wipe off like you would regularly clean your glasses.

I considered buying one as well, cheaper than the DR version but still about a grand. Just can't bring myself to spend that kind of money on raking leaves LOL

Grow: It is a time consuming process as you already know but man is it worth it! You know exactly what is your meat. Have you ever done the sausage links?? I did the patties and they came out great. Not sure the links are worth the hassle

Last time I talked to DEC on the phone (couple years ago) about an issue I was unsure of, the ENCON officer had no idea to the answer. How are they to enforce the law if they don't know the law themselves?? While I know there are ALOT of laws isn't it their job to know them. Funny how some of the laws change depending on which one you talk to

Phade, Congrats on the long shot. While I would not have taken that shot mainly for my ethics you did and were successful. No judgement from me cause I wan't there. However IMO I think 50 yard shots should be left to target shooting and bragging rights. To many variables to go wrong on a live target.

On an unrelated subject, My neighbor's son shot a nice 6 point Monday. We scored the rack at 62 3/4 and estimate the weight around 120 lbs. Got it skinned and quartered and he is gonna get it mounted.
