Couldn't do worse than the presidential pretender we have now or his senial VP, senial Reid, whacko Pelosi and they've been elected more than once

I have to go cut the turnips

My brother head shot a deer with a 7MM, he checked it walked over to get his pack and when he turned the deer was on its feet again. Blind but standing. I downed a doe and a spike, walked up and put a 300 Savage in the doe's head and she just looked at me, the spike got a 12 ga slug and was still breathing. An arrow is designed for blood loss not shock so I can't see a bow head shot.

Woofer, I agree. As much as people point to the words in the constitution, to most of us it's still a free speech issue

Merry Christmas all

All I heard of Phil's contract was vague line items about immoral and nothing specific

Buck heart " If one of my employees was saying things to my customers that I thought would negatively impact my business I would can them in a second. " Exactly where and when is your employee on his own time and in his own speace where he can state his opinions. Or do you own him like a slave at all times? And when does your customer revert back to an ordinary citizen. Afterall, he's not just your customer

WE HAVE MOUNTAIN LION IN NEWBURGH AND PROOF
Suilleabhain replied to cynthiafu's topic in General Chit Chat
I was just reading National Gepgrphic at the dentists's office. They had a big article on mountain lions and migration. They had marked two confirmed sightings around Lake George, a few in Maine, two in Conn and NH. -
Phil Robertson knew what he was getting into and couldn't care less But whatever happened to:'I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it,' People in this coutry are losing their backbone. He can say whatever he wants, wherever he wants. A&E will see their consequences when the Robertson's move to The Discovery Channel. And they wanted him to stop saying Jesus in his prayers and even cut it out on some episodes. Keep changing the country to suit the minority factions.

Just saw an ad for a new Meryl Streep movie, she says "What have you done with your hair, you look like a lesbian" But, that's okay. Maybe we should ban those words from the language too

I'll watch DD but nothing else. I may not agree with what he said but I'll defend his right to say it. You don't want straight (no pun intended)talk, then don't interview Phil Robertson. An MBA, self made success. Everyone can kiss his azz as far as he's concerned. And shame on A&E for putting him in detention, they have no balls. But Queer Eye for the Straight Guy is okay family entertainment

I put up a post about Powerbelts and how they did on paper. Some of the guys here were good enough to tell me they were crap in the field. I did some research and they are spot on, many reviewer comments are the bullets exploding on impact, no penetration, no blood trail, deer being vitally hit two and three times before going down. I'll use them on paper then buy something else.

Anyone have a problem with this post.
Suilleabhain replied to First-light's topic in Hunting Related Pictures
Yeah, I have a problem with the comment and the disrespect aside from shooting a fawn on purpose. -
Jeremy, where were you in 9H? That's where I hunted. I heard from my brother 3 feet this morning

I'm a number 5. I only saw 8 deer in my short time out, had one coming close to a shot but it turned away and had a fine year. The weather could have been a lot better but that's the game. Next year I'm going back to basic. Forget the blinds, tents, scents in favor of picking a deadfall to sit in. I didn't see any turkey this year, that's something new.

I don't shoot more than 75 yards so my iron sights are fine. If I got a modern muzzleloader I would scope it. Iron sights on one of those would be like buying a color TV to watch black & white.

One thing about Dexter Russell and Russell International, Internationals are imported cheaper grade steel not as good as Dexter Russell and if you can take care of them neither is as good as the beech handle high carbon Dexters fro holding an edge. I have a homemade knife ground out of a file by a machinist. Have to dig that oneout

This is good. Tell me more about shooting flintlocks. I have my eye on the Traditions Penn

If I stick it in bow season but it runs off and then I hit him in rifle season but I kill him in muzzleloader do I have to tag him three times. Geez these threads get weird
