are you looking for "micro size" or more like a S&W Shield, Walther PPS? just grabbed a PPS before xmas at cabelas $369.99 doorbuster sale cuz i couldnt resist.. now to wait 3 months for my ammended permit -
you can order online in NY , you just need to have it shipped an FFL. check with the FFL, some charge a flat fee for it no matter the amount

UA base layer then either wool sweater or fleece zip up. walk in with berber fleece windshear vest , jacket and bibs. on the bottom, fleece base layer and maybe a light layer if im going to use the bibs or insulated pants. thick wool socks and Rocky 800's . and cabelas extreme hand muff warmer with a pack of grabbers inside for the morning sits. Never any cotton once Nov 1 is here

sure, i wouldnt get a dmp if i wasnt going to use it. maybe if I knew the exact pattern of a big buck that week , i may hold off thinking he may rumble through but a doe down with meat to cut up can be just as rewarding as shooting a spike or fork for meat

yup , wife asks "whatdya see"? all the time. the answer is usually squat.. but she does like to hear a quick report when there are encounters with whatever animals are around

i like the idea of it, but they bore me and the background music and filming production part can put you right to sleep since there doesnt seem to be too much actually hunting going on . they definitely drag out each episode

not sure if there are any automatic regions though some are almost automatic. maybe it meant that you find out "instantly" if you get your chosen zones

since we Zero control of swirling winds and changes in direction mid-set you cant always have it in your favor so wasting $10 a year on some scent killer spray or soap and laundry detergent isnt going to kill me. if anything , it may neutralize some of our scent we pick up being inside a house before a hunt. i also leave several of my layers outside 24/7 during the season and put them in large containers outside during bad weather. theres no perfect science to any of it, we all have routines and hunting superstitions and this may one of mine

you can hunt coyote 24/7 during the season so i dont see why not, its not in the Reg book. -
and it being a deer , I remind myself no matter what its not going to attack me if i get winded like a bear or wolf as i am on the ground which is the ultimate..settle the pin in slow and breath. enjoy the hand to hand combat because it is indescribable to non-hunters!

sit still for most of Oct then use the occasional doe bleat can end of Oct and into Nov. its hit or miss but i bring it. I bring the grunt tube and will use it if i see one going away or already out of range

all NY (or other state, MA, CA) compliant AR platforms are ALL ugly and not worth the $ IMHO..look into another setup depending on what you want it for
