Hunting in Franklin Delaware County there are more people in the woods this year then ever before in my 30 years of hunting BUT not to many shots seing a few tags being filled not monsters well theres not many of them around here to many people shotting meat and most will shot a small buck becouse they did not give out many doe tages it is ruff hunting here with out the doe tags and try to grow a herd

Well First day was a WASTE Da#%$ people dont know how to stay on there own LAND the people next to the me have 180 acres I have 60 and never had and trouble we always stayed away from the boundrys this year the guy has a stand right in the corner facing my land of course he puts some one that no speeaka the engrish or at least so he says when I tryed to talk and be a good person then after sun up three people come walking right though me and my sons stands laughing and worst of all smoking So hope to day is better seen a nice big buck ran by to fast to get a point count

Theres an older hunting buddy of mine that has this saying ( Brothers and best friends become A&& Holes and worst enemys on opening day ) and that some times is true sorry to hear about the jurk next door let the boys in green cuff and stuff him

Sorry to hear about Your hunting buddy. There is so many of the old school hunters getting to frail to hunt .I have a very dear older friend age 83 and he gets around like hes 40 dont know how they do it some times god bless them and your buddy be safe out there and good luck to all

I hunt a lot of farm land (what few are left ) every one I talk to has the same thing to say there not seeing the bucks (not that there are alot of them here) I do alot of hunting and and spend a lot of time in the woods I am just not seeing even the small ones

Wow you guys have it ruff sorry about that. Do what I did about 15 years ago the wife always had things for me to do. Then I got her in the woods ,it was great she took a big doe her 1st day out and she is hooked. She wants to hunt harder then I do sometimes. BUT BE CAREFULL dont let her have your best spot I lost mine to her ha ha ha Good luck to all and be safe out there

Well well well we have a dead eye and he never makes a mistake ??????

I Lease about 60 acres in Delaware county then I rights to small parcals all over in the area so I have about 300 acres in all and if I dont go to each spot every day to check out who or what has been there the next time there is a gut pile or garbage from some one else had one spot that i could not keep people off becouse of a bear I set game cams so to get plate# and called the troppers not dec and they have not been back .

I think it has a lot to do with the weather it has been 70 degs.and the girls dont even want to speek to the boys now it has cooled off and the deer are moving here you can always tell by the amount of car deer crashes on one strech or road where I live

I would shot a good sized doe over a 5 year old buck for meat and theres not to many big boys in the woods in my area any ways if you get a 3year old buck thats old for the 4o area Im not aginst shooting big bucks every one wants that buck of a life time

The Oct 1 openner is good news the AR is a good thing as most land owners in my area have already started there own the Buck to doe ratio needs to change around here

It is so hard to not shot the first one to come by as the economy sucks and the meat is needed to feed familys.I have hunted both ways over the years and the ones I have hunted for the wall has been a long deer meatless winters . A waste of money for tags that did not get filled so now I fill the frezzer then worry about the wall hangers.

I hunt mainly in 4o, if you dont own land you dont get DMPS. There were people that had 2or 3 pref,points and still did not get . I have had many deer aged by dec. I have shot does in this area (own land and live on it ) that have been aged a 12 years plus it drives me nuts they say there are to many deer then theres no tags then to open a cross bow season and run it with muzzle loader season Wow
