More action this morning, but nothing yelled back at me or came close enough. Several in the fields including a few toms, at about 530 tonight, all flipping their middle toes to me as I drove by. I flipped them back.

I once fell asleep under a car, while doing an oil change…No porcupines involved, but I think alcohol was...

I have a few 6" .357's and I have been tempted to take one out every season

I have checked out the Yeti coolers and they are obviously over built. These things are tanks. I just can't get over the price of them.

I once missed at about 15 yards. I had taken a good tom opening week at about the same range and just about took its head off. This time I shot and the bird took off running, then took to the air and I watched him just glide out of sight. I think I must have pulled it just a little but close in like that, just a little is too much.

I couldn't get out this morning. Just to drive myself crazy I took a ride past the property i hunt, late yesterday afternoon. Yup..nice big tom in full display out in one of the fields, a hundred or so yards from the tree line. Im sure there were more with him past the little rise he was on. Im almost positive where he roosted last night and I know exactly how to slip in and set up. Been bugging me since last night. I have taken birds in that same spot. I'll definitely be out in the morning.

She has been corrupt and dishonest since early in her law career. The fact that she has come this far without landing in jail, is amazing.

A relatively new turkey hunter, who has never had a tom in range, finally gets a legal, bearded, puffed, bird close enough to shoot and does shoot it. If he left his house at 430 AM to get to his spot, 13.8 miles away, and traveled 41 MPH, what color are his socks??? Thats the question!!!! Congrats man…Live and learn..

A bunch of 10-12 year old little, entitled ingrate turds raised by adult ingrate turds… Who do you think encouraged the little ingrates to protest. Who drove the little turds to the protest?? What do you expect? -
Good action again this morning. Had two answer me right off. I set up at a plowed field. Hens flew down, and of course two toms followed. After about 20 mins of hopelessly trying to lure on of the toms closer to me, I noticed a bird still on the roost. I got the glass on it and sure enough, another tom. He sat there another ten minutes or so, and finally joined the party. Funny. They finally moved over a crest and I decided to try to move around and call from a couple other spots. No luck tho, Short day, I was done by 8.

I have never ordered anything from them, but I know a ton of people who have and I have heard nothing but good about them. The owners name is "Larry"…you have to like a guy named Larry…LOL!!

Sorry to hear, and good luck... There has been an ongoing, major clean up operation going on to clean the polluted Onondaga Lake, in Syracuse. Its a long process and I can see it going on for quite some time. Im pretty sure they're hiring and with your resume you should perk some interest to say the least.….Good Luck.

What kind of game did you hunt in Italy? And Benvenuto

One year a buddy and I killed three nice long beards, screwed up on a couple more and passed on several Jakes. We didn't hear a single gobble that whole season….. I still wonder what the hell was going on that year.

...oh, and remember. Don't grab them by the legs until they are stone dead. That's my blood, not his. Rookie mistake.ember. Don't grab them by the legs until they are stone dead. That's my blood, not his. Rookie mistake. Congrats and you're 100% right. I have made that rookie mistake a couple times well out of my rookie season. One time the tom tore a section of my sleeve right near my wrist. The last time was about4 years ago. It was a real nice tom, flapping around after I shot it. The flapping seemed to calm down a bit so I grabbed his legs. Well he wasn't quite done. He ended up getting his spur stuck /tangled in my glove and it was on……Oh it was a scene. Fortunately no blood….none of mine anyway, but I was flopping as much as the tom.

Nothing for me this morning, but some good action. Passed on a Jake that came tooling through with a hen. ( I didn't even call him in…they just kind of showed up) Had one Tom answer and eventually show himself, but too far and with two hens. Roosted some walking in. I was soaked by 830 and headed out. Looking forward to tomorrow but can't decide where and how to set up yet. Good luck to all.

I got a wet azz but had a little action. I booted two out of the trees as I walked in. That pissed me right off. Later I had Jake follow a hen right by me. I don't even know where they came from. No gobbles until about 730. I had one answer me from way across a plowed field. He finally popped out of the hedgerow with two hens. They all eventually made their way down along the wood line and out of sight. The rain really stared to pick up at around 830 so I punched out. Back at it tomorrow

It has just been me and my son for a week. Wife and daughter in California on a vacation. The boy was pissed that I made broiled cod with lemon garlic sauce, asparagus and rice. WHAT AN OUTRAGE!!! LOL!! My house, my food, my menu and my rules..LOL! He settled for a frozen egg, cheese and ham breakfast sandwich thing that he found in the freezer…I can't even remember buying them..but Im sure it was fresh and tasty..

Good luck with it..I was just trying to say don't get your self jammed up because of the little tin pot dictator who dreamt up the leftist SAFE ACT.

Mossy 835 with the factory Accu choke. I think the pattern is even a little too tight. I have killed a lot of toms inside of 20yds. I normally shoot Winchester XX #4 or 5. Not as tight a pattern but a lot of hits right in there. I meant to bring a couple after market tubes with me, to compare, but I forgot. I have a Jelly head, truglow and maybe another. They all shot about the same as the factory tube with the Win XX shells so I always just kept the original tube in.
