I just read about a new system out of Texas. It works off of your cell phone. You hook it up to your preferred firearm and set it in a deer blind. You can set the sex and size of the deer you're hunting. This system recognizes the specs, you selected and will automatically detect the deer you're looking for. It will shoot the deer and then notify you of the kill by text. the initial cost is like $1000 plus a monthly ap. But what the hell?? -

Was Ammond Bundy actually at the wild life refuge, during the stand off?? Did he urge the protestors at the refuge to leave? and is he related to Al Bundy of Chicago's Polk High football fame?? -

When I look for a lawyer I look for one that has a T.V. show. Thats how you know that they're serious about practicing law. Last time I had a problem, I used Judge Mathis. He got my speeding ticket reduced to a simple assault. Im out in two more weeks!!!! -
Might work. Im not sure but I think they breed mostly in stagnant water.

Polaris 500 Starting Problem

Its best to keep a float charge on batteries when they are not being used.I use them and never had a problem. I got over six years out of the stock battery on my sportsman and about the same on and Arctic cat I use to own. Also make sure the starter switch ( not the key, the switch) is in the off position, when the machine is not being used. -
Outstanding!!!! Congrats to you both.!!!!! Nice big bird too!!

Never thought of taking a pic. My only thought was to get this F-ing thing out of my arm. Sorry my first thought wasn't to amuse and prove myself to you …..what ever….

Yeah…I had one a few years back, while I was at hunting camp. By the time I found it, it had its whole head embedded in my forearm.

You should be OK……….for a year or two……..LOL!!!!!

Polaris 500 Starting Problem
ants replied to BigGuyNY's topic in ATV's , UTV's, Dirtbikes & Snowmobiles
If it turns out to be the starter, don't buy the new one from the dealer. Go to NAPA, they will have a good quality replacement for far less money than the dealer will get out of you. -

Sounds like the Starter is shot. Its an easy enough fix. Disconnect the battery, & remove the old starter. See of the bendex gear is all chewed up. -
The truck I had before my Nissan, was a 2002 GMC. In the 7 years and I owned it, I did Wheel bearings twice, brake sensors 3 times, U joints twice, drivers side window actuator 3 times passenger side twice(but it wasn't working when I finally traded it in) tie rod ends twice, and I sure Im forgetting a lot of other things. Only one brake sensor job was under warranty, the rest was on me. The truck only had 90k on it when i got rid of it. Had a 99 Silverado before that ,which had the same issues but not as many because I didn't keep it as long. My first new truck was a 1988 Chevy Scottsdale. The transmission went at a bout 1100 miles out of warranty. The dealership and GM told me to stick it..Should have learned my lesson then.

My wife and daughter left for vacation at 2 P.M. My son brought home an awesome looking sub, for himself. So I made myself a toasted grilled cheese and ham sammy, that I forgot about and kind of burned, so now I'm just sitting here looking at all these awesome pictures of food. I hate all of you!! LOL!!!!

Yes..but its still up in the air right now..

Sorry..So someone told you its legal??
-
Again ,,,Im just telling you the facts… You can do what you want. But selling, buying or possessing a rifle, as you described, is 100% illegal in NYS, unless the rifle has been made NYS compliant. Sounds like neither of the shops you have been dealing with knows WTH they are talking about. In NY, under LIL Andy…any semi automatic rifle (center fire or rim fire) that has a detachable magazine can not have a pistol grip, or a flash suppressor, or a bayonet lug or a collapsable stock or any other "evil feature". Its not hard to look up on line. Good luck.
