  1. Yeah..labs are great. Mine was a huge couch potato until he saw me start to gather my gear to head out bird hunting. I would leave my boots and brush pants in the garage and he would grab them and bring them to me. I hunted pheasants with mine, but he would occasionally bust out a rabbit.
  2. Yes..It was part of the SAFE ACT. NY Permit holders are now required to re certify every 5 years. But no one seems to know what that will involve or whether or not it will cost anything.
  3. Nice!! Your lab looks like my old bird dog Rudy.
  4. Right..Trump was impeached, disbarred is a known purgerer and liar, known womanizer and philanderer, accused rapist and yet still loved by liberals and still has enormous political influence…..Oh wait….thats not Trump.
  5. They're not blind to anything. They choose to ignore or make excuses for despicable behavior, as long as their bottom line is being met. Character and honesty mean nothing to them.
  6. No matter what Bill has done, he is a liberal super hero……And while he was in office Hilary had ZERO influence over the nations affairs…LOL!!
  7. You might be right…A few times I have found good tools just tossed out. Like someone died and the family just got rid of the stuff, while cleaning out the house.
  8. I like to sit right on the ground. I like the thick foam type cushions. I use a carabiner to hook it to my belt. Pretty comfy but I rarely sit for more than an hour or so. I went to the metal dump a few weeks ago to get rid of some crap. Someone had tossed out an almost new seat. The seat is about 18"x10" with woven nylon strips for your a$$ to sit on. It has an aluminum frame and sits about 6" off the ground. Someone tossed it for a reason. My guess is that when you sit on it the stubby little legs just push into the ground so far that your butt is sitting on the ground anyway. What the hell? I tossed it in the back of my truck . I'll try it.
  9. I think that eventually local police will have to decide who they stand with. Problem is federal funding and $$ talks..
  10. Camden needs to be a lot higher on that list.
  11. Reminds me of Scott Norwide "LACES OUT!!!"
  12. You could probably pick up the Titans pretty cheap
  13. Id but my wife that brown fur coat she has always wanted…and a big game license.
  14. Very nice!! Reminds me of my old labs first bird. Many moons ago.
  15. Nag of a she squirrel in the nest would explain a lot too.
  16. I have on tree in my yard, that is well over 100 ft tall. In the 16 years I have lived here I have found 3 dead, intact squirrels under it. I just assumed that they fell.
  17. I have left ammo, in plain sight ,in the front seat of my truck. Lock down time?????
  18. There is a movement to instill an irrational fear of guns in kids. By the time these kids are in their late teens, the antis have them. Thats the plan. Hopefully there are enough honest, responsible adults out there who will be able to set kids straight.
  19. The summit I mentioned earlier, with the torn up coating ,stays in the woods for a couple months every season. I have even left it there until spring time. I have no serious rust on the cables at all……Maybe they are galvanized or have some other rust proofing on them. I check my stands to make sure they are safe and I am not concered at all about using it. The only disadvantage, to the frayed cables, right now, might be that they are loud because of the metal to metal contact, when setting the thing up.
  20. A lot of times you can't buy any of the ammo you want at the local stores because some ammo is very hard to find. Stores are almost always out of 22LR, 35 Rem, 32 Win. Special, 44 mag, 41 mag, 10mm..the list goes on. A friend of mine has a Contender in 357 Max. he hasn't been able to get ammo for it for a couple of years now. He found it online but can't get it shipped.
  21. Adding more laws on top of preexisting laws, that are not enforced or prosecuted, do little and eventually infringe upon the rights of honest citizens. If existing laws were enforced and vigorously prosecuted, you would see lower gun related crimes. The criminals who don't go through background checks now, to obtain guns, will not go through expanded background checks either. But everyday citizens will. And what would an expanded background check add to the existing background check?
